  • I wouldn't say it's mandatory, but definitely recommended. Each emitter only puts out a small amount of water, so if you have too much pressure going through the line it can get built up and possibly pop the emitters out of the supply pipe.

  • Glad to hear it! Drip will make things so much easier for you, targeted watering that you don't have to worry about makes for a much better looking landscape.
