a few lessons on killing dragons. Don't rage is you already know this...just trying to lend some hints to those new to the game.

1. if frost dragon then use fire magic

2. if fire dragon then use frost magic

3. arrows work on all dragons.

4. dragons don't move much when on the ground so find a pillar, rock or large tree and take cover then use your weapons, magic. The dragon breath does NOT penetrate wood, rock..etc. Works for me all the time.

I am about level 46 and I have finished the main quest, yes I know you're doing other walkthroughs but hear me out. Skyrim requires a lot of GRINDING and TIME. You should, level up more and do videos on side quests first, before tackling the main quest. And lastly, For crying out loud please get change that longbow!!!! Brad highborn you have to use it like a shout and you can use it once per day right there it is not helping you at all

You can enchant items to fortify destruction and things like that and if your enchanting skill is high enough you can make destruction spells cost 0 magicka

Brad you can always recharge your enchanted weapons by taking the Soul Gems in your inventory and using them on your depleted weapons! Also, all of the potion-type bottles you see in dungeons or houses in villages, PICK THEM UP! they can be worth alot, and alchemy is a great thing if you are a magic user (magic boost and magicka recharge potions) I hate to do this but, thumbs up so brad can see plz!

classic ending there Brad XD just a bit of advice erm... go to the Jarl of whiterun and visit Farengar the mage dude and buy some apprentice spells off him like fireball, ice spike and lightning bolt. Helps a lot. And buy some spells like bound sword, etc, up your conjuration. And use the oakflesh or stoneflesh spell when fighting since u don't have armour. Gives you a nice well rounded increase in most mage skills except illusion. Great vid though :D

If a dragon breaths flames, its weak to frost magic. If it breaths frost magic, its weak to fire. If its a blood dragon, or an ancient dragon, pray to whoever you believe and wack away with melee attacks. If you are lucky you wont die.

ohh and while im at it do the college of winterhold quest line, you get a 50 plus magic amulet as well as the arch mage robes which is leveled, i was pretty low level but it restored magic 100% faster and decreased the spell count by 20% and gives another magic boost, and when your doing the final mission you get a mask that increases magic regen by 100% again as well as an awesome staff

@theRadBrad the best way to deal with dragons for me (i play as a mage) is to activate the slow time shout then launch a tonne of dual wielded fireballs or ice storm, you decide which one by the attack the dragon uses because fire dragons are weak to ice and ice is weak to fire

the best way to kill a dragon in to get to the side of the Dragons wing. with a sword and shield....

and then you just Hit it like hell with Stamina Attacks (by Holding Down R1 button/ just in case you don't know)

and also going into places that have a trident kinda shape or dragon face on the compass usually gives you new shouts and there is a shout for ice breath and fire breath which help out a lot

Brad remember, if the dragon breathes fire, use ice, and if it breathes ice, use fire :D always use the opposite on the dragon cuz it makes it so much easier, or so it seems that way for me... it usually works well in the end

Brad i have a suggestion for you.....you need a sword and a shield (just for protection) and get some armor for crying out loud.I got attacked by 2 blood dragon's and a dragon priest and i had one sword and a shield.so please from my expieriecne get some armor(you don't have to but i recomend it)

Dragon's use flame = 50% resistance to flames, dragon use ice = 50% resistance to ice. They do have 25% global magic resistance. 2/3 hits from a dualwield weapon and this dragon would be toast.

you should try to get your hands on firebolt/ice spike/lightning bolt.

They have more range than flames/frostbite/sparks, AND they do a hell lot more damage. Hell, I can kill most targets with 2-3 hits from lightning bolt.

Also, Flames do hurt dragons...just not that much. And its short ranged.
