I couldn't carry all that, that's crazy but I wouldn't mind having a friend like you lol. A gun a spare mag a knife, phone, flash light and the rest I leave to the good lord. Peace!
@dko9873 That's understandable, it is a lot of stuff. Pockets and weight distribution, that's all it is. Oh, and this video no longer represents my daily carry, check my newer EDC vid. As one example I don't carry the Glock 27 anymore (usually) - just the XD.
Check out my website for the best kydex sheath you can reasonably buy. I do ALL my work without electric tools, if you buy now you get a free add-on (a ten dollar value)
Iv'e got discounts for double orders and reviews.
I do not make my living off of this so i can assure great prices, and i've got all the time in the world for your sheath.
I upload videos to youtube.com with the detailed steps in making YOUR sheath, not someone else's.
I recommend a better flashlight. I personally have a Fenix TK10 which I am very satisfied with, but is a bit bulky for EDC use. I EDC a Nitecore EZAA, which is much brighter than your Coast light there. It's a great EDC light, but I am looking into a 4Sevens Preon2, which is a muchbetter penlight than Streamlight's Stylus.
@spiritsword83 Fenix is a good company, I almost went with their products. Ended up getting the 4Sevens 123^2 Tactical (the R2 version I think? - 190 lumen max) - love the light. Note, the emitter head died on me the first time I used it, but 4Sevens RMA'd it. No problems since. Am considering a Preon 2 as well. I have an updated EDC, check my other vids.
@Takastrike I have the 4sevens quark 123 turbo on my M4 and I will soon be getting the Quark turbo AA for my edc. 4Sevens is a great company and for the money they cant be beat... Great video man.
@gordy10uk Hahahahahaha, awesome. So, can you hook me up with your supplier man? It's been really hard for me to find those damn rocket launchers - I want to carry at least three, you know, for when I just feel like going duck hunting but don't want to stop at home.
Well, not anymore - this video is now a bit out of date and some items have been replaced with others, but otherwise yes - as long as I am dressed I have my gear on me. I might take off my vest at home or at a friends house, but it's near by.
What is the bookmark made of??? Where did you get it? Do you know the Lumen out put of the lights? Can you do a vid on how you make that bracelet? I love para projects. If you had space may want to carry carabineer and fig 8 if you thought you would be rappelling. Can use just belt but will be safer and more enjoyable with the aforementioned items. Why do you ccw with lower cap mag & higher cap as back-up? Good vid I am now a sub. Get some more vids, like the presentation.
Bookmark is aluminum, found at a local bookstore. Output on the coast is unknown. The Kobalt is 90Lm. For para stuff search google for Stormdrane's Blog. The rigger attachment is just an extra function of the belt, if I'm planning on climbing I use a proper harness. I carry with the lower cap mag loaded because it gives the gun a smaller profile and is easier to carry concealed.
I love the idea about the zip ties. I will be adding that to my EDC tomorrow. Awesome. I carry zip ties already clasped together in my gobag, but they are really too lightweight to be used as handcuffs.
I am curious why you chose 2 dif firearms in 2 dif calibers. Would it not be better to have a baby Glock and a mod 23, or 2 Springfields that share the same mag?
Having two pistols chambered to the same caliber would make sense, but I bought them at different times for different purposes. The XD is my EDC weapon, the 27 is now my backup, easier-to-conceal gun, it no longer stays on my ankle (it became impractical for everyday use). It now stays in my bag.
aaabenit says he can not find the words to say how awesome your urban edc is. he says" he hopes you never use those cannons. you carry alot of death maker with you. i hope you train alot with those...well im sure you do. well you must i cant see just any one operating one of those untrained 5/5",
Carrying it all is done with having a good belt and a decent pair of tactical pants. Tactical pants usually being one step up from cargo pants in terms of number of pockets. 'The Operator Tactical Pants' from LAPoliceGear as well as a 5.11 Tactical shirt (more pockets) are how I carry my items.
I mostly view it as having 2 knives, not 3 (don't really count the mini-swiss as a proper 'knife' so much as a miniature multipurpose tool for small applications). I consider it SOP to have 2 knives.
I've thought about getting a surefire and then I saw the fenix lights with the new CREE LED tech - my next light or two will be fenix, definitely. Though the kobalt has preformed pretty well so far. Still, the fenix lights have far better features and efficiency, no argument.
are you a cop
