I heard Medeco Locks were some of the higher end stuff as my workplace is full of them. Surprised to see it took this guy 20 or so seconds to break in with a pretty simple lock pick set.
Youtube should ban all these a-holes showing how to pick locks so criminals can learn how to do it. I hope somebody picks your f*&ing lock and steal all your $h!t, you idiot...
If the sidebar were out there would be no need to pick it. Unlike normal medeco cylinders the sidebar checks both height and rotation, with a hole in the side of the pin for a finger of the sidebar to go into
Bullshit! I've spent hours trying to pick one! 36 years of that lock and I hear NOBODY has picked one. If they do, they get $250, 000 from Medeco suposively.
gunzngore Dude you are a idiot, this is a life style being a locksmith is not only a job is a art , you are the one who needs to get a life and stop watching videos you cant understand idiot!!!!
i just want to break into the washing machine in my block and take all the money. How the fuck do i break into it and its got one of those medeco locks. Any help will be much appreciated.
I can help you with this. All you have to do is use a flat tension wrench and apply what little bit of decency is left in your completely flawed character. Quick tip: Get hit by a car and quit giving our already misunderstood hobby a bad name.
yeah hobby my arse. thats like saying you dress up in womens clothes on the weekend but aint a fem. And whos ever heard of someone breaking into a bank then putting the money back. At least i do it for a reason and its a good one, so get a real hobby and dont try to pretend.
You really are clueless, aren't you. Lockpicking is a hobby that thousands of people participate in around the world. There are clubs, contests, research projects, and lectures. Many of us spend hundreds of dollars a year on locks so that we may pick them ethically. Maybe you would understand the attraction we have for opening locks (esp. "pick proof" ones) if you grew the fuck up a little.
Yes you need to grow up, normal adults don't use numbers in place of words. As far as having a life; I'm not the one begging for tips on breaking into washing machines for change.
No truer words have ever been written. People also don't understand that the locksport community has offered valuable insight to the lock manufactures in an attempt to create better locks. The locksport community helps improve the quality of locks so the average everyday crook is out of his league.
If anything lock picking by honorable people helps improve security for everyone else.
Can you pick it side ways in a 3 inch space like a phone lock? Crush it in a vice come on lets see some thing out in the field like we all want to do a moon light job.
Slider-which is moved by the actual key (OVER 30 different keys) which means to bump youd have to manage to have a persons key (only one dealer per key per area)
sidebar-goes in the slots cut in the key aligned by the angled cuts turning pressure does not apply pressure to it
pins-stainless steel keys 7 depths no M.A.C. (cams sky and air locks have cuts such as x.5 2.3 ect)
hey thanks for the comment EBarger212, truth is this is the only medeco I have ever picked. this medeco only has 4 pins. I have tryed others with more pins ...no seccess.
...anything you can tell us tips wise from a locksmiths point of view would be awesome.
well with the up to date M3 (5-6 pin + sidebar) I find it absolutely impossible to pick... drilling out a medeco seems to be the only way to get into one. medeco just released a biaxial lock that doesnt have the twister pins im not positive on the side bar but either way i have been unsucessful with medeco.
dont get me wrong. The big medecos can be picked. I have seem it done..
actually drilling is not to clean its self. with the anti drill pins in place fron front of the key and driver pins drilling is going to be a job on its own.
Nice work Slim! The Medeco twist pin lock I sent should be at your place on the 4th. Good luck and hope to see a vid with it being picked. If not maybe give hbk101274 a shot. He's been boneing up on Medeco locks.
does everyone see the little brass cap holding the pins in..? if i pull that off to check out the pins..will I be able to put it back on with out damage? No experience with medecos.. only experience with medeco's i have is them punking me out. lol
no wafer lock. this is a 4 pin lock, twist pin. cam lock.
I never ment to make it look easy. One thing you guys didnt get to see was me really pissed at this lock..lol.. I counld not pick it. and it was driving me nuts..not having much experience with medecos...hbk gave me some very usefull tips and using those tips i was able to open the lock with in seconds.. Thats why i must express how educational this was for me.
I also have a big brass medeco padlock, Medeco I-core. I have never picked it.. sad to say but I think I have just givin up on that one. its above my skills.
Sometime when you get it picked you could send it my way and i'll give a crack at it. BTW, you're keys are shipping off tomorrow for ya. Nice picking on the wafer medeco too man. Love all your videos.
hey justin.. do you gaves work on medecos at the shop? I know somw locksmiths that wont even touch a medeco...{or legally cant}.. are you guys certified with medeco?
the light was kinda bad in this video, if anyone doubts this video Becuase of the light...not being able to see the keyway well.. I will gladly remake the video and delete this one.
hey sniper, yea..that a sweet set. I got the same one and am very happy with everything..
I am excited to see what you have planned for your next video. seem like no one is making anymore videos, not sure whats going on.
I would like to give a huge thanx to hbk101274 for sending me this lock. I appreciate the experience greatly, all the tips for medeco picking were awesome and very helpful, many thanx.
awesome job dude, i still need to get a hold of a medeco and try my hand at one. i just got the pro60 set from lpt and love it. sry i havent made any vid lately but i will soon.

can u bump or use the pick gun on medeco?
sv650pimpin 4 years ago
A lock pick gun will not work effectivly...
yes a medeco bump key can be made and it would work great. but you MUST know the angles of the cuts to make a working bump key.
Slimpickingsooooo 4 years ago
you would also need to know if the pin is for or aft.
Slimpickingsooooo 3 years ago
can u use a lock pick gun or a bump key to open medeco?
sv650pimpin 4 years ago
wow pickn open a bi axel with angled pins, impresive I thought only one guy could do it and it took him 4ever!
Norticpunk 4 years ago
cuts-there are three angles (basically) left right center and all can be fore or aft cuts
Hardend PLATES not pins in certain locations, laws patents ball bearings where screws hold lock in, etc
