I own a ybr 125. and have just bought a bandit streetfighter ( import) and the ybr 125 is alright but you get a lot of people saying is it fast?. And the answer to that is no it will keep up with the traffic but this bike is more of a bike to commute through towns and citys cheaply. I though my ybr wasnt slow but then when i test rode the bandit it felt so much nicerto ride. Sooo much power

its not way too high, its high but have you seen wen they change it in sports races?

Yeah, racing, hence racing bikes which are made to rev high for long periods of time.

dont worry about it though YBRs are invincible! :D

My Scooter goes 45-50mph and it's only 50cc. I'd say with some tuning these would go much faster than 60, I could be wrong though.

A scooter can easily do 120-140km/h(or 30HP) If you know what your doing. It's like a cult in my country.

eh, no? Its 4 stroke, nothing blocks the exhaust. Got one myself, done 130 km/t with original exhaust. Changed the nozzle and air filter.

Dunno how u call it in english but that lever where u can change the fuel mixture. leave it on starter fuel then u get over 100.

I have Yamaha YBR 125 2007 and my max. speed is only 95 km/h :-( and I dont know why, do you know?

Bud there can be several problems first check out cleanliness of carburettor and air filter or you had a bad rodaggio :)

I know a few people who have them here in EU, and most never did over 60mph, which sounds just about right for a 10hp engine. I had a ride on one once but didn't have a chance to go over 45-50. Feels at home cruising at 45 tho. Very relaxing.

@PBSucre i think you are referring to the asian YBR 125G. am i right or not? asian ybr is made for business stuff like side car/cart or deliveries or public utility. Euro YBR, well i got no idea 'bout it but they sure can go more than 100 kph
