Carrie has one of the best voices I've ever heard. I was blessed to get to meet and speak with her a few days ago after a cabaret the touring Wicked cast did at the Civic Center here in west des moines. its one thing to hear her sing and another to see her perform. put them together and its amazing. i'm glad I was able to see her perform, even if it wasn't in Wicked.

she sang a beautiful rendition of Bewitched Beguiled and Bewildered :)

and shes really sweet. she gave me a huge hug :)

I don't think anyone here was comparing or excluding either of them. They are both great singers. Some people were just questioning which of them hit the last nigh note at the end.

Carrie is well known to have an enormous vocal range, perhaps best heard in her video of the song "How Can I keep from Singing"

Just being able to hit a higher note doesn't imply one is better. People are just curious about it but I don't think that implies that one or the other isn't great.

It sounds like they both hit the high Bb. I don't hear harmony on that last note from the singers... Maybe I'm wrong, but Allie's "r" shape looks exactly like the end of that high Bb. Carrie's vibratto is audible on the Bb, but Allie would be singing some harmony if they weren't both hitting it.
