I mean what's so special bond beetween Seifer and Gilgamesh?

I've played ff8 and Seifer is my favoryte char, but I can't recall anything about Seifer's and Gilgamesh's connection...

@SwordSkill2, actually what Gilgamesh is talking about is Bartz (Butz), one of the main playable characters from FF5. So this Gilgamesh might be the same one from FF5.

@SwordSkill2 It was a mistranslation. He was referring to Bartz Klauser, the protagonist of FFV. That was the first time Gilgamesh appeared.  The dimensional interval was the Rift from FFV. Its a long story, but in the Japanese version, the dialogue says something like "Was it you, Ba..." Implying that he was speaking to Bartz. Hope that helped

Its REAL If you have Odin before this time you lose him then Gilgamesh replaces him. I prefer not to have him cause he is too unpredictable. He will pop in at any time of the battle. Sometimes he uses Odin's sword and misses. Or he uses Masamune for Heavy Damage Excalibur for Mod damage or Excalipoor for 1 hit of damage just too chaotic. Just get Odin after the battle with Seifer works better cause if Odin comes out the battle is done no miss possible and always at beginning.

It happens in the fight with Siefer, if Odin manages to be summoned siefer kills him, but then Gilgamesh comes forth and owns Siefer in Odins place.

He showed up because Odin dided and he received his Sword.

@FinalFantasyTux nope this happens in the game near the end, in FF5 gilgamesh gets sent to the x-zone or something and returns and sacrifices himself for the party. people think that during his time in the x-zone he was jumping dimensions try to find his way back to FF5 and thats why he appears in alot of FF titles.
