the unions must work together to shut down the economy until rights are restored a simple example of 500 or more tractor trailers blocking highways surrounding political buildingd, garbage piling up no snow removal, but the unions must hold steadfast in denying all services until rights are restored,
The Internet is being used to revolutionize societies. Tell your Congressman to rewrite the “Employee Freedom of Choice Act” so it uses the Internet to allow workers to request and conduct union votes DIRECTLY with the NLRB. Truly secret votes where employers can’t identify and fire organizers. Force employers to bargain with unions 30 days after a successful vote. Bring in an arbitrator 30 days later if no contract is in place. In 2012 VOTE for Obama, House & Senate majorities and pass it!
Public Employee Unions shouldn't have collective bargaining. It's a conflict of interest. The unions are the one's giving money over to politicians to get them elected; once elected, those politicians have to reciprocate by giving in to union demands for higher pay. One hand washes the other. Collective bargaining in the public sector has to be eliminated. Even the socialist-style politician FDR, who prolonged the depression in reality, was against collective bargaining in the public sector.
Walker’s Wisconsin Plan: No-Bid Energy Assets Firesales. The bill would allow for the selling of state-owned heating/cooling/power plants without bids and without concern for the legally-defined public interest. GOOGLE IT(*_*)
@dustinternationally Civil rights to other people's money? Unions contribute to politicians, politicians in turn give other peoples money to unions in return; it's a conflict of interest in the public sector. Even FDR was against this for the public sector.
we need to hear more about the Koch brothers and Koch industries. Wish our new media would explore this more but i have no hope for that. to busy talking about nothing.
Koch Industries pretends that it thrives from the “free market,” and that the government only inhibits its growth. But in reality, as Koch slashed jobs, the company exploited government contracts, public forests, public land, narrow corporate loopholes, eminent domain seizures of private land, and has demanded taxpayer bailouts for its refineries

I have been sitting quietly listening to so many people rant the, "tax payer leeches" and "selfish, greedy teachers" line that I have finally had enough and now am posting and have lowered myself to this. Once More - It is not about pay, it is not about benefits. This is, plain and simple, a protest against Scott Walker making a move to hastlly abolish unions. I am not union, and in fact up until now had been Republican. I never supported unions in the past, but most certainly do now.
@Madisonwest764 If teachers don't want to help pay for their pensions and health care (like every one else) then it is time to fire them and their communist unions.
@Madisonwest764 what maybe you and others fail to understand is that collective bargaining does not belong in the public sector. Why? Because unions contribute big $ to politicians, who in turn get elected and feel and obligation to 'take care' of their supports, i.e., Unions, which means that whenever unions bargain for their employee members, the politician uses other people's $ to satisfy their voters and ultimately screw the tax payer. It's a blatant conflict of interest. Even FDR noted so.
If this law passes it will eventually affect all workers, State governments all over the US, as well as our federal govt. are representing the corporate bigwigs who can afford to spend millions lobbying for their side. The only weapon we workers have is our unions and our sheer numbers.
These protests in Wisconsin are our bulwark against the fat-cats who want to make us all minimum wage peons.
The taxpayers of Wisconsin have rights too. Why should we (many of us have lost jobs and homes) but somehow we are expected to pony up more money in the form of taxes so these leeches can continue to get generous salaries and pensions?

Nice video, man. Really puts into perspective the real issue here. It is not about the pay. Its about civil rights.
