OK, its not "Gone With The Wind", but the film is a hoot. Features Alice Cooper, Ringo Starr, Keith Moon all playing it for laughs and camp. I have the DVD of this and it is a fun romp. Mae is amazingly effective at 80-something. Hardly the "pain fest" that stuffy critics say. I got a kick out of it.

They say she was in real life, as she was in movies, said what ever came to her mind, very off the cuff and as a matter of fact! I particularly like her movies with W.C. Fields, damn funny movies!

I believe the only one she made with WC Fields was My Little Chickadee, and they loathed each other. They didn't share any scenes at all.
But she was a writer, she wrote most of her scripts, and even when one was given her, she was allowed to punch up her own lines.
