  • I would not have known that shellac in a spray can does not have that marble in it. Thank you.

  • You could use shellac if you wanted on gun stocks but it will wear off. A better choice would be the Tru-Oil Gun stock oil (available at Woodcraft). 142763

  • @woodcraftmarketing If you put a top coat of poly it will work fine.

  • Do they use shellac on gun stocks? I own a .22 winchester and it has a finish that reminds me of shellac.
