Nice vid! I'm going to get a boost bottle for my 66cc Skyhawk motor but before I buy that I'll get an expansion chamber exhaust. Hopefully it'll boost me up cause right now my bike is topping at 25 MPH.

I don't know much about these small engines. I wanted to buy myself a scooter, but they are quite expensive. Now I'm thinking of doing a conversion like this one.

Regular scooters with 49cc engines can do 50-70 km/h, right?

So how come your 80cc (bigger engine) on your bike (less weight) can only do 55 km/h?

Can you explain how these work?

Also are you anywhere in Quebec, or better yet, Montreal? I saw the pedestrian light button, but mostly I recognized the cracked roads...

@hassoun6 because scooters have a transmission, this is just one speed. its like having a dirt bike stuck in second gear. and im in dundas

@hassoun6 its called 80cc by the chinese. true displacement is 66cc. BUT they are QUITE strong.

@hassoun6 To be clear an engine listed at 80cc is actually only 66cc. Don't ask me why.. That's just how they sell them.

@wesleyjudd just smoothes the engine out and makes it run better, less smoke and better mpg but no real boost in power, however you can go faster because the engine vibrates less

@KsHoOt3r7 alright i knew someone would ask sooner or later. anyways i am very mechanical minded and i see how some people think its a scam. its not! it works great! but this isnt a nitrous kit you wont be gaining gobs of power and torque every time you give it. no thats not what it does. for my bike(and i did before and after tests unbiased with a bicycle computer) anyways, the boost bottle does not add speed(continued.....

@586guest2 it did however smooth my engine out noticeably, lot less vibrations in the mids and especially in the highs. it also has better throttle response(by a small margin) and there is more low-midrpm torque. also i gained a few mpg with the bottle. so all in all for 20 bucks it was well worth it and dont expect much but it works well for what it is

@586guest2 Just installed my boost bottle today....luv it:). It also made my bike run a lot more silent. Every now and then I grease the drive gears.

Your bike really cruises along nice. It seems like it almost has a tuned pipe as it seems to "come on" around a certain rev range regardless if you have a tuned pipe or not. So you must have one really great running and well setup little engine. I am a mechanic and have seen many of these engines not work as good as this one does. If you do a tuned pip it might really fly, but you may need to re-tune. What size rear sproket are you running? can tell when you break the 50k as the camera shakes :D

@IcechickenSr that engine has over 4000kms on it when i made the video. its all about the break in. if you break it in properly and run the right mixture and take care of the engine it will return the favor!

@586guest2 They emailed you an engine kit? Man, I need to catch up on the times! Didnt know you could get an engine emailed to you. It is legal in my state, but alot of cops are jerks and tell you it's not legal. You can fight it though, because the engine was designed to be legal in all of the states, except nazi California.

makes the engine run smoother and get better fuel efisioncy, it also makes it able to reach top speed faster and revv higher than stock. all in all it was worth the 30 bucks i paid!
