  • It was a really nice experience being on the receiving end of all these techniques :-)

  • We call it sombo in Britain as sambo has unfortunate racist connotations.

  • it works if u do it like him. its all about timing,

  • Sranje

  • fjodor je sranje a?

  • I like this throw, quick, flexible and to the point

  • Cool

  • i want to learn combat sambo but i can't find any in my city

  • That's always been a problem in the States. I'd suggest Judo, Jiu Jitsu or Aikido...

  • Nice Ashi Guruma or Harai , I wear glasses and I"m not sure wich was. Thank"s.

  • Harai

  • he really doesn't use his leg to spring him. almost a Koshi Guruma, but blocks his leg like tai otoshi. Its a mixed. but if the leg doesn't assist in the process its not a harai. :) Either way.. it works.

  • In 2002, at Front Sight Firearms Training center before an audience of 15-20 people, I demonstrated knife defenses against a trained martial arts opponent. All were actual, encounters against an real knife. All of my demo was video-taped, and the cadre at Front Sight will attest to what I say here. The martial arts community has much to learn about the hand to hand combat techiques I have been practicing for 58 years.

  • I also agree Sambo is a derivative of Shuai Chiao, Judo,Jujitsu and Greco Roman wrestling. Osheplekov was turned on to Shuai Chiao in the 1920's as well as the Mongol's invaded Russia about 100 years ago. Jujitsu directly was influenced by Shuai Chiao and Judo came from Jujitsu. To anybody that is ever trained extensively in Shuai Chiao can see this.

  • During the time of commie alliances, the Soviet and Chinese military often had exchanges. For that reason, san shou (which uses mostly shuai jiao throws) and sambo share noticeable similarities. Good to know other people notice this.

  • so Jujitsu that is strictly Japanese is influenced by a countries martial art that never took it over or set foot in Japan.

  • do the research; 2.During the Japanese Edo period ( 1603-1868) and the Chinese Ming dynasty (1368-1643) in 1659 a Chinese Shuai Chiao master, Chen Yuan Yun went to Japan and ended up teaching three Samurai Shuai Chiao. These Samurai were; Fukuo Hichiroemon, Miura Yojiemon and Isogai Jirozaemon. These three are considered to be the founding fathers of Japanese Jujitsu.

  • looks like basic combat shuai chiao technique.

  • Combat Sambo was influenced heavily by Shuai Jiao among several other fighting styles.

  • @Capoeirista81

What would the " other " styles be then ?

  • SWEEEET...!

  • If a person pulls a knife or gun they mean to use it on you. For the knife yes you can walk away hope they don't follow and if they do then you have no choice but to fight. As for the person with a gun you better run really fast or close distant and use what yo have learned.

  • It is better to run when someone has a knife. You should only close the distance if they have a projectile weapon. Most people who take these training courses freeze when the moment comes anyway- or become dead heroes.

  • Heroes don't die, they reload

but seriously I agree with your comment

  • ashi guruma

  • yeah the ankle bit seem to make a big difference

  • "ineffective" is a relative term. this throw certainly wouldnt work against a man targeting you from a thousand yards away with a high powered rifle, but some asshole throws a haymaker at you outside of a club and this could floor him before he could blink

  • that was stupid. its for hand to hand combat w/o weapons involved.

  • my comment was made as a response to the assertion that the tech. in this vid. was "absolutely ineffective"

if you scroll down some you'll see that comment.

  • Thank you! I can't stand these guys saying " this and that is useless. If the guy has a knife you would just get stabbed, or if there were 3 guys they would all jump you." Yeah, no shit! And if I had a grenade I could blow up the guy with the knife and all his buddies! Does that mean a martial art that teaches you one on one unarmed combat is useless? No! No single technique is going to be the best choice for every situation. Ok I'm done.

  • Nuke.

  • its wand to wand combat men...

  • srry i write bad hand to hand...

    srry xD

    (I'M A SPANIHS GUY)

  • no if it waas judo, it would say judo. This is sambo, russian combat system.

  • In no way am i bashing sambo, but this throw is absolutely ineffective(Especially to a well seasoned fighter). You would never catch me throwing a punch that slow or off balance. Now maybe this would work on an inexperienced fighter.

  • It's so ineffective that you added it to your favorites.

  • Hey Milos! What's up man??

  • Missed these trainings in Belgrade 3 years ago, and still regret it. I didn't know you were a youtuber. Off to watch other movies. Cheers Steve!

  • man this guy is awsome.I dont think thay train like this in georgia, usa georgia

  • Thanks for the kind words

  • Coool, thanks for the vid.

What about serbian girls? they look awesoooooome.

  • Very tall! But, I am happily engaged :)
