Hi Saffron49. Both domestic and international adoptions are wonderful ways to create a family and to provide homes for children who need them. They are definitely differences between the two, and they appeal to different people. Many many families are created each year in the US by domestic adoption.
This is why many people prefer international adoption. The children are true orphans and desperately need loving families.
I have completed successful international adoptions and would never consider domestic adoption for creating a family. Most birthparents choose to parent as it is easy to make an adoption plan while you are still pregnant, but much harder to relinquish a baby once it is in your arms.
Isn't pandering and soliciting for a fetus from an unsuspecting vulnerable pregnant girl or woman against the law?
