Jedna ze zpěvaček,která úžasným způsobem ovlivnila spolu se starýma Nightwish můj hudební život. Hudbu poslouchám velice rád ( Většinou metal ) a NW s Tarjou měli prostě něco navíc. Naštěstí Tarja svým stylem zpěvu inspirovala spoustu lidí. Jedním z nich je zpěvačka Epicy Simone Simons a ta je taky úžasná. Jenom když si pouštím DVD End Of An Era tak mě hodně mrzí že tohle už nikdy neuvidím naživo. Video máš hodně pěkný. Pokud chcete můžete se podívat na můj kanál,třeba sevám tam něco zalíbí.
Ještě nikdy sem neviděl aby se o změně zpěvačky v kapele vedli stále diskuse a to i po 5 letech!! ( Stačí se podívat na diskusi ke klipu amaranth na youtube kde se to téměř furt mele ). Tarja prostě byla elementem, který z Nightwish dělal něco unikátního a fantastického včetně Tuomasovi hudby a textů. Mě osobně se vůbec nelíbí jaký způsob Tuomas pro vyhození Tarji zvolil. Dát jí po několika letech vzájemné spolupráce jenom dopis je dle mého srabské ať už byla jakákoliv.
Mně osobně je jedno,že Tuomas vybral do NW zrovna Anette. Změna je změna. Že dal Tarje dopis....jo to se musí nechat, že BYLO srabské. Zase si ale vem, že takových zpěvaček jako Tarja moc neni a tak si musel vybrat z toho co bylo a on si asi vybral to nejlepší co mohl. Nightwish bez Tarji hodně klesli, ale to jenom proto, že si lidi nedokážou zvyknout :)a rozhodně si nedokážou uvědomit, že Tarji a Anettin hlas se vůbec nedá srovnávat.... :-)
Tarja hasn't to be singer of Nightwish again I think. I just wanted them to stop all that hate... I really have to cry when I see this. It has nothing to do with me! I don't even know them, but it makes me cry!

@KiyoAyavi you're not talking to the air my friend there are a lot of ppl feeling this way, including me sometimes. Tarja and Tuomas used to be great friends and they were the ones who started this great band, with Empu. Although there are things like greed (this doesnt go to Tarja of course), jealousy and too much glory a person can stand. I dont blame anyone of them for all this situation. Each one of us has to choose his road and what's the best for him/her.

Nevím, no. Nemůžeš s jistotou říct, jestli byla fakt taková, jak ji Tuomas líčil. Tarja je bezesporu úžasně charismatická osobnost a úžasná zpěvačka. Tuomas je nadaný skladatel, ale je tak trochu zakomplexovaný a zbabělý. Vyhodit Samiho i Tarju skoro stejným způsobem, aby s nimi nemusel jednat z očí do očí mi přijde jako dost velký podraz.
Tak či tak Tuomas i Tarja jdou nezávisle na sobě do popu. Tarja ale, na rozdíl od Anette umí zpívat na živo a já jsem ve sporu Tuomas vs. Tarja jednoznačně na straně Tarji.
Vím, že hodně "pipušek" Tuomase obdivuje, co by génia a věří, že je Tarja zkažená a jde akorát po penězích. Tuomas přijetím Anette zničil Nightwish. Pokud neuměl najít alespoň důstojnou náhradu, neměl Tarju vyhazovat.
On je sám docela psychicky labilní, nespolehlivej jedinec (jednou se před koncetem ztřískal do němoty, museli do něj lít hektolitry kávy, aby se mohl vůbec postavit na pódium, takže tak).Ani jeden z nich není svatoušek, ale Tarja dokáže dát písním duši a prožitek, který teď Tuomasovým skladbám chybí.
Si frajerka vyznáš se beru tvuj nazor vážně, některé veci o kterých si psala sli uplne mimo me, musim rict ze anett se v hlase zlepsuje nerikam ze bude nekdy hodna kvalit tarji a veřím že kdybych to řekl že by mě smazali z youtube ale opravdu koukni se na videa na zacatku a tet a uvidis pokrok. nightwish sla dolu beru tarja je sama na hovno souhlasim ale co s tim udelame?
Jako neuděláme s tím nic. Anette skutečně teď zpívá líp, než předtím, ale působí na mě dojmem, že je jí jedno, co zpívá. Nezajímá se o text, má dost práce s tím, aby uderžela melodii. Tarja je oduševnělejší. Ale jinak dík, že si myslíš, že jsem frajerka;o)
Lady, souhlasím s tebou v tom, že to, jak Tuomas vyhodil ty dva, není fér. Na druhou stranu ale věřím, že měl důvody pro to, co udělal. Byl by naprosto blbej, kdyby Tarju vyhodil bez dost dobrýho důvodu (přece musel vědět, že z velký části stojí ona za úspěchem Nightwish).
No, vzhledem k tomu, koho přijal místo ní, tak fakt blbej je. Navíc, nevím, jestli ti je známo, co je mimo koncert na DVD End of Innocence, ale vydržet s věčně chlastajícími spoluhráči dá taky fušku, Anette se k nim díky své primitivitě hodí daleko líp. Úplně chápu Tarju, že s nimi nechtěla trávit každou volnou chvíli. Asi si dokázala představit i lepší zábavu, než chlast...
Jasně, DVD znám, a nikde netvrdím, že pro osobu jako je Tarja bylo snadný vydržet s nima. Určitě ne. Ale to se nevylučuje s tím, že pro její vyhození musel mít Tuomas dost dobrý důvody.
@LadyEleanor05 Absolutne suhlasim. V knihe o Nightwis je toho popisaneho kopec. Tuomas bol trocha blby ale faktom ostava ze do Tarji zalubeny bol. A niekedy je to asi tazke pozerat sa na stastie milovanej osoby s inym clovekom. Apropo tie volne chvile so skupinou, podla mna to dost zavazilo pretoze ona mala uz manzela a mozno chcela iny zivot. Prajem jej ten terajsi pokojnejsi stastnejsi :)

no. when people think nightwish, they think tarja. tarja was the most talented member of the group and deserves the most credit. she may have been a diva (she could back it up), but they were passive aggressive cowards who never made any attempt to reconcile. the band accompanies the vocalist, not the other way around. the singer is the most important member, it's been like that for 300 years. anette's decent (I even like some of the songs written for her), but she doesn't have the chords to be singing Tarja's stuff (Phantom of the opera: maybe, sleeping sun: no, Ghost Love Score: hell no)
It's funny; You guys cry at this song because it reminds you of the old Nightwish (Which, I'll admit, I like over the new Nightwish), but Tarja sung this song for her mother, who died of cancer.
tarja is a great artist but it was time to move on...none the less Tarja is not dead nor did she stepped down...if you miss her go to her concerts buy her albums (like i do :p )

Wonderfully put together piece. Well done! Without taking away from the fact the song was written for her mum, the music fit perfectly, and it re-ignited the sorrow I felt whan thy broke up. Good to see those happy times with them together!
Both Tarja and Tuomas had hurt each other and i think both have suffered a lot....i hope one day they forgive each other and if not reuniting nightwish, at least getting their friendship back, well and as well as with the rest of the band
Those were the good old days. If only I could have seen Tarja with Nightwish. No one could have ever replaced Tarja, but, what can we do about it, right?

When I see pictures of Tuomas and Tarja together I feel very sad. How could they not love each other? Not as a couple, but as soulmates, they found each other and made great songs (one in composing, the other in singing) and all of a sudden, it's over.

Come on, Tarja herself said she's going to leave Nightwish after the next album and definitely don't want to tour with them again, that she want to end the career with Nightwish. Clearly at that point she didn't see NW as 'the band she belongs in' anymore. Just some phase on her career that she was already planning to end. What the guys did was just to take the fate of their own band in their own band. What's wrong with protecting something that you treasure more than anything else?
If you were the guys, what are you going to do, just sit around waiting for her to give you a 'one-day's notice'? And how do you think is Tuomas going to produce music when the lead singer outrightly said she doesn't need nightwish anymore? This is better for everybody.
I believe in Tuomas' sincerity, there's no reason he would make all this kind of thing up just to lose an incredible lead singer. Don't you remember he once said "if Tarja leaves then Nightwish will end too"? Can't you see there must be a huge reason for the guys to let Tarja go?

Neither do I think Tuomas wants to blame Tarja for all these, he has made it clear it's her manager husband who caused the problem.

Some Tarja's songs are really shallow, but that is not what we talk about. Tarja gave to Nightwish songs feelings and new "singer" Anette canť do that. In concerts she can't sing and Tarja is great singer. She is a lady but Anette is only boring emo girl. I don't like her unpleasant voice, she doesn't have scale...
Anette is an emo-woman, but she's got a great voice, very trained, a gifted singer. Tarja was the reason I gave Nightwish a chance (and then became fanatically obsessed with LOL) And I will keep an eye (and an ear) on her solo-career, but Nightwish goes on too. And they are still good. Nightwish has soul,lost a part of it, but still goes on.
I'm happy to see those Tarja-fans who don't still live in denial. I too preferred Tarja, but I also like Anette. You are saying "Tarja is gone but Nightwish is still Nightwish". Vím, že hodně "pipušek" Tuomase obdivuje, co by génia a věří, že je Tarja zkažená a jde akorát po penězích. Tuomas přijetím Anette zničil Nightwish. Pokud neuměl najít alespoň důstojnou náhradu, neměl Tarju vyhazovat.

On je sám docela psychicky labilní, nespolehlivej jedinec (jednou se před koncetem ztřískal do němoty, museli do něj lít hektolitry kávy, aby se mohl vůbec postavit na pódium, takže tak).Ani jeden z nich není svatoušek, ale Tarja dokáže dát písním duši a prožitek, který teď Tuomasovým skladbám chybí.

Si frajerka vyznáš se beru tvuj nazor vážně, některé veci o kterých si psala sli uplne mimo me, musim rict ze anett se v hlase zlepsuje nerikam ze bude nekdy hodna kvalit tarji a veřím že kdybych to řekl že by mě smazali z youtube ale opravdu koukni se na videa na zacatku a tet a uvidis pokrok. nightwish sla dolu beru tarja je sama na hovno souhlasim ale co s tim udelame?

Jako neuděláme s tím nic. Anette skutečně teď zpívá líp, než předtím, ale působí na mě dojmem, že je jí jedno, co zpívá. Nezajímá se o text, má dost práce s tím, aby uderžela melodii. Tarja je oduševnělejší. Ale jinak dík, že si myslíš, že jsem frajerka;o)

Lady, souhlasím s tebou v tom, že to, jak Tuomas vyhodil ty dva, není fér. Na druhou stranu ale věřím, že měl důvody pro to, co udělal. Byl by naprosto blbej, kdyby Tarju vyhodil bez dost dobrýho důvodu (přece musel vědět, že z velký části stojí ona za úspěchem Nightwish).

No, vzhledem k tomu, koho přijal místo ní, tak fakt blbej je. Navíc, nevím, jestli ti je známo, co je mimo koncert na DVD End of Innocence, ale vydržet s věčně chlastajícími spoluhráči dá taky fušku, Anette se k nim díky své primitivitě hodí daleko líp. Úplně chápu Tarju, že s nimi nechtěla trávit každou volnou chvíli. Asi si dokázala představit i lepší zábavu, než chlast...

Jasně, DVD znám, a nikde netvrdím, že pro osobu jako je Tarja bylo snadný vydržet s nima. Určitě ne. Ale to se nevylučuje s tím, že pro její vyhození musel mít Tuomas dost dobrý důvody.

@LadyEleanor05 Absolutne suhlasim. V knihe o Nightwis je toho popisaneho kopec. Tuomas bol trocha blby ale faktom ostava ze do Tarji zalubeny bol. A niekedy je to asi tazke pozerat sa na stastie milovanej osoby s inym clovekom. Apropo tie volne chvile so skupinou, podla mna to dost zavazilo pretoze ona mala uz manzela a mozno chcela iny zivot. Prajem jej ten terajsi pokojnejsi stastnejsi :)

já si myslím, že Tarju vyhodil, protože začal žárlit na jejího manžela, na kterýho byl i hnusný ... podle všeho byl Tuomas do Tarji zamilovaný, a když se Tarja vdala, tak mezi nimi přátelství skoro zmizelo ... jinak je fakt blbý, že Tarju vyhodil

no. when people think nightwish, they think tarja. tarja was the most talented member of the group and deserves the most credit. she may have been a diva (she could back it up), but they were passive aggressive cowards who never made any attempt to reconcile. the band accompanies the vocalist, not the other way around. the singer is the most important member, it's been like that for 300 years. I'm not condoning her behavior, but they acted out of jealousy

It's funny; You guys cry at this song because it reminds you of the old Nightwish (Which, I'll admit, I like over the new Nightwish), but Tarja sung this song for her mother, who died of cancer.

Ahoj, pokud si toto video dělala tak je to krásný, krásná píseň, krásný obrázky. A já, i když Nightwish stále poslouhám(i s Anette) si myslím, že finská skupina je finská skupina a ne že vyhodí tak talentovanou zpěvačku jako Tarja a místo ní nasadí nějakou Barbie ze Švédska, která s ostatními členy kapely mluví jen anglicky. Wonderfully put together piece. Well done! Without taking away from the fact the song was written for her mum, the music fit perfectly, and it re-ignited the sorrow I felt whan thy broke up. Good to see those happy times with them together!

When I heard this song 4 the 1st time I was like, Tarja is trying to say smt. to Tuomas :) And pic at 00:14, and 00:25, just look at him! He looks like, well, having some deeper feeling toward the "girl next to him" :D

When I see pictures of Tuomas and Tarja together I feel very sad. How could they not love each other? Not as a couple, but as soulmates, they found each other and made great songs (one in composing, the other in singing) and all of a sudden, it's over.
SOOOO sad. Anyway, life goes on... but noone will give Tuoma's ocean the depth tarja did, and No composer is gonna make songs for Tarja as tragically beautiful as Tuomas.

Come on, Tarja herself said she's going to leave Nightwish after the next album and definitely don't want to tour with them again, that she want to end the career with Nightwish. Clearly at that point she didn't see NW as 'the band she belongs in' anymore. Just some phase on her career that she was already planning to end. What the guys did was just to take the fate of their own band in their own band. What's wrong with protecting something that you treasure more than anything else?

Neither do I think Tuomas wants to blame Tarja for all these, he has made it clear it's her manager husband who caused the problem.

Anette is an emo-woman, but she's got a great voice, very trained, a gifted singer. Tarja was the reason I gave Nightwish a chance (and then became fanatically obsessed with LOL) And I will keep an eye (and an ear) on her solo-career, but Nightwish goes on too. And they are still good. Nightwish has soul,lost a part of it, but still goes on.
