Friends don't let friends drive under the influence. JKing, With all honestly you guys shouldn't harass people for interpreting this the way they see it. It's art and everyone takes it in differently. For all you know this could be about teen pregnancy. One girl could be upset with the other cause she got with the wrong guy.

Even when a friendship/or relationship ends, you need to look back on the good times. The cat in the video is not willing to allow the friendship/relationship end, and therefore goes to the ends of the earth to stop the panda from having another friendship/relationship. And even after he has torn the friendship/relationship apart, the panda still only thought of the spaceman. The cat, still unable to let go of the friendship/relationship, drags the empty shell of a panda back to the way it was

There's two ways you can perceive this,

1> The cat and the panda are best friends, the Starman (The blue thing) comes in and falls in love with the panda, and impregnating her. When the cat tries to re-establish connections with the panda, it fails- resulting in the cat killing the starman, but it was too late because the panda was already pregnant. After giving birth, the panda seemed "dead" to the cat, and the friendship was un-repairable.

2> The panda and the cat are lovers, and the starman lures the panda into having a relationship with him, causing pregnancy. The cat "kills" the starman, but it's too late, for the Panda already gave birth and "died", making the relationship broken. The cat tried to make the relationship work afterwards, but it just couldn't happen.

I've watched many music videos.

I write about them for magazines.

Well, about the artists and songs - to be somewhat more specific; and mostly for magazines that have namesake references to tridents.

Regardless;

Through the billion-some-odd music videos I've seen, this remains one of the single-most depressing videos I have watched.

But I keep pressing the play button.

To just be blunt and throw this out there:
