This was the red and white game. Spring practice type game and bradford wore a blue jersey to represent he is the quaterback.

Quarterbacks where a distinct color at most every college's spring practice games, and practices for that matter. It's so the defense can easily recognize who NOT to tackle. Sometimes you will see other players with the same color on during practices. Its just to keep them from getting unnecessarily injured. Several years ago Adrian Peterson wore one during the spring game. The play is dead when the defense makes contact with the player.
