The pantry ghost has been proven to be a hoax. The author of the video has openly admited it as a hoax. Aside from having an open confession, it can be debunked rather easily: Many pantries have hinged shelves that open to storage closets behind the shelves. A girl hides in the pantry closet, the guy shoots the empty pantry and closes door, the girl opens the shelf-door, slowly moves her hands and face around near the glass, then opens te pantry door just before returning behind the shelves.
