@buzzsaw1003 The M-Res can be used to make sounds on it's own, but not very effectively. It's capable of self oscillation so to speak, so you can get fun sounds, but it's really meant for running audio sources through it.

The M-Resonator is really nice but it you have to keep it on a leash, otherwise it's really easy to go from "interesting effect" to speaker-rattling noise. More subtle tweaking of the knobs is necessary when using it live, but you can also set it and forget it as well. I love running my TR-606 into it... or any drum machine. It can make a roland tr-505 sound fat!!
