  • fabulous and who is the muppet that pressed the dislike button ?

  • sweet ass bassline...a bassline that takes all up and coming bass players to that next level...i know...i've taught it to many and seen kids take off from there...oh and just a perfect bad ass tune on every level...pure bliss. :)

  • Silly thing to say, but after 21 years He still OWNED this song.

  • Strummer forever.

  • Probably the best live version of this song that will ever exist.

  • fantastic!!!

  • Im now 50 but dont matter were i am when i here the clash my fucking legs get moving as they always have...the only band that matters...off to see mondo bongos next week! cant wait...

  • i remember seieing him and thinkinkiking

this guy is as cool as Elvis and abviously he was stil is..........

  • Greatest rock star ever.He admired Bruce springsteen but I think J.S is the greatest ever

  • joe was the real boss the one, well he and chuck who is still alive

  • Rest in peace, dear Joe! You're missed!

  • joe strummer is the father of punk, not just the punk rock, but the punk attitude, the punk lifestyle

  • @xxxREDOXxxx I LOVE Joe but that's not even remotely true.

  • Why these fucking morons aren't on their fucking feet for this song is beyond me.

  • because it's shitty jools holland show

  • good ! ! the best cover of it yet. R.I.P. joe. anybody seen springstein and costello do this. its bloody awfull. its at some award thing in america. i think the awards were for being shit. you know people like 50cent and all that comercial garbage they pump out and call rap and R"n"B. mindless crap. give me the clash and a crap PA any time. that "polished" sound makes me cringe..long live PUNK

  • i second that! Joe Strummer : Rest In PUNK!

  • Bruce performed it after Joe died as homage

  • one of the best performances i've seen of this clashic...[sic ;)]

  • Bassist needs a bit more tone.

  • yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • Whenever you hear someone other than Joe sing this song, it just sounds really bad. No-one else had the chops to pull off this tune. There's a tribute to Joe in which Groehl, Springsteen, Costello and one other guy tries do to do London Calling, and you see what I mean.

  • super joe tu nous manques

  • anyone has I fought the law in this set? loved the way strummer played it

  • R.I.P to the late great JOE STRUMMER!!!!! THE TRUE GODFATHER OF PUNK!!!

  • What a great man, both musically and generally. What a loss.

  • Mescaleros Ant Genn and Martin Slattery have the rising acclaimed group the Hours. Smiley the drummer in this video has many projects but just came off a US Tour in his new band featuring members of Simple Minds and Big Country.

  • Heston is fantastic and so was Joe and the Mesky's! For those of you who don't know Paul Simonon is a amazing new supergroup going under the unoffical name "the good the bad and the queen" Mesky's drummer Luke Bullen is the boyfriend and drummer of rising superstar KT Tunstall.

  • Badass.

  • Terrific. Do you have the rest of this set, by chance? I loved the version of X-Ray Style they did here.

  • Yes, I will get around to getting all four songs up.

  • What other songs did they play?
