yes these are rare recordings. good to have them on youtube.no other pianist was able to guide his audience to climax like this. this art of keeping the tension in phrasing , forcing the audience to stop breathing.no one will ever realize this. it was unique and its impossible to copy this. it was a very personal way of expression.
Wow. What a beautiful performance of the 2nd movement. I just love his haunting grace notes in the main theme. The outer movements, especially the final, were magnificent too. I've always loved this underplayed work, but I'd never heard Horowitz in it. Thanks for making my day!
