"We'd be better off to let many of these words go." I very much agree with this. It seems that people can get their egos wrapped up in the "identity" of a label, and therein lie many problems.
I have a question about the term "Warlock"...the definition is oathbreaker / lier...but does this definition come from the christian church or does it / should it really mean somebody who practices magic? (i've seen it used mainly to mean people who practice magic but the definition says otherwise)
have you ever been on a paranormal investigation? if so did you ever catch any evidence? or had any psychic impressions that pointed to ghost activity?
Thank you for your opinion on this subject, Rev. Don. I agree that labels, of any kind, can be very limiting, whether we put them on ourselves or others. We definitely do not need barriers in our lives! We need to be open to grow. So, I, believe that we have to be very cautious in using labels in any context.
True. I agree Don. When I mention a term such as "clergy" to a co-worker, this person believed I meant of the Catholic faith. It's almost like some terms do have their own histories that spring to mind, similar to what Jung and Joseph Cambell both wrote about.

Which should at least get rid of the stigma behind them. We should get rid of their connotations with "evil" or "deluded people". We are neither.
