  • Stay in Pismo!

  • Comments about surf videos of small Carlifornia towns are all the same:

    1. Exposes surf spots to get locals pissed. Very informative

    2. Angry local cussing a lot. (Stay home pricks!)

    3. Sarcastic invitational (Come bring your family)

    4. Out-of-towners cussing at the locals.

Californian surfers are all a bunch of kids.

  • yah man every surfer who lives in cali is a child. your right. we are all immature/fake/whatever grand generalization you want to use

....how about your grow up and learn not to generalize an entire state.

  • Thanks for agreeing with me. I'm not generalizing. It's surf culture there and don't deny it.

  • i am not agreeing with you. i was being sarcastic. and yes it is generalization.

  • Cayucos is a small beach town located in San Luis Obispo County on the Central California Coast - almost exactly halfway between Los Angeles and San Francisco.

  • oh ok thanks

  • Ahhhh, this brings back memories. Welcome to The Land of Hell Closeouts....

  • Pismo Rocks!!

  • Ya I know Pismo Beach Pier is a great place to surf!!!

  • pismo is the worst place to surf

  • You don't know what your talking about because Pismo is like the best place to surf in So Cal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • haha we live in central california...and no it sucks. your from the valley so shut up

  • You have know Idea about Pismo!!! Intil you surf Pismo 185\365 days (surf 185 days of the year)!!!! We will talk because the Pismo Pier is in SO CAL!!! LOok it up on a map if you don't believe me!!!!

  • You don'tknow what you talking ABOUT!!!! Until you surf Pismo 185 days out of the year we will talk!!!!!!!!!!! And YES Pismo is in SO CAL!!! LOOK IT up on a MAP!!!!!!

  • in case anyone was wondering, that was indeed J Kim on the barrel

  • couple weekends back it was this big. mouse rock was goin off. saw places break farther out than mouse also. there were ten foot faces in places i didnt no existed

  • on an epic day you can ride lefts from in front of smokehouse all the way into the pier.

  • shizzle kins!! Just went there today and it was suckitash.

  • epic. santa anas can do wonders.

  • Epic?! 3-5 second shorebreak rights are not my idea of epic by any means. That outer reef past the pier there though, really intrigues me. It seems as though the rights there break with the juice on 12'+ days, although no footage of people surfing there seem available for the public. Then there's that slab in north Cambria that keep popping up in the mags thats got my curiousity piqued, yet team Azhiaziam refuses to share the goods on the break. Damnit.

  • are you judging the height of these waves in hawaiian terms? I guess it not epic but for cayucos pier thats pretty close...ya that mysto slab is super heavy, need a jet ski almost at all times.

  • For cayucos this is as epic as it will ever get, i have never seen a barrel, let alone a wave over 4 feet there. IT's usually just ankle slappers.

  • oh and it's not an outer reef it's called mouse rock, just a boil.
