  • I knew it, everything is a nuke

  • It flickers slowly like that because the 60 hertz sine-wave is slowed down to a pulse!

  • It looks like a jelly fish at 0:10 ! ^^

  • That is great, you can actually see the pulsating from the alternating power supply as it switches polarity i.e. 50 times a second (50hz)

  • so actually they removed the glass bulb and turned the light on?

  • OMG! Mushroom Cloud! Its a fucking atomic bomb at high speed.

talking about atomic, can someone film a atomic bomb at high speed within 1 foot?

  • @cuteboymimmi - There wouldn't be much to see, once the bomb detonates, the camera would be destroyed in several different ways.

Also, most of us don't just have nuclear weapons laying about to test in our backyards.

  • @cyborgtroy Who says? :\

  • Comment removed

  • @cyborgtroy Several different ways? No. The only destruction would be instantaneous and total vaporization by temperatures of 50,000,000-180,000,000ºF (many times hotter than even the center of the Sun) in a millionth of a second. No other method of destruction would even have time to take place.

  • @cuteboymimmi Why don't you try it? You could get a lot of money!!!!

  • @NortheastGamer lol or die!

  • @cuteboymimmi No, it's not. And no, they can't.

  • 55,555 viewer lol. This is a neat thing, I love how the fire goes to smoke!

  • light bulb: 2005-2007

    rip

  • What Bulb?

  • this is the filament inside the bulb

  • What Bulb?

If there was a bulb then the filament wouldn't fire up (oxidate) like that.

  • hes right, theres only argon inside light bulb.

  • Ive always wanted to see what it would be like to film an ant being flicked in slow mo... see it just get utterly legged... maybe you could do it? could be hilarious... might not be. but gotta admit, theres protential..

  • 100% agree, ant flickin' FTW.

  • LMFAO!!

  • i love how the fire transitions into smoke

  • its sad when it dies at the end :(

  • :C yawr...

  • lol when I thought of a light bulb "burning out", i didn't think it actually caught on fire.

  • i lvoe this it looks really cool

  • I love how there was a little spark at 0:47 and then it went out very cool

  • Dude....Who needs acid when you've got slo motion videos at hand. Wow....

  • LMAO !

I just killed Bob, now buzz off

  • same my video lags but not enough to spoil the video... luckely!

  • play the video, pause it an let it load some, then play it. should be ok then.

  • ooooooo

    jelly fish!!

  • Why do the videos lag? when i have it fully loaded?

  • pause the video at the start.

    drag it a bit.

    play it.

move it nearly all the way back.

    and there u go :)

  • maybe he/she means the flickering of the licht, that is caused by the frequency of the electricity which goes through the bulb at (usually) 50 Hz (tremblings per second)

  • Nah, i think he means the little loading circle thing that keeps showing up while you already downloaded the full movie, i'm having some troubles with it as well, on multiple movies.

  • same heare

  • TOOOO MUCH LAAAAAG!!!!

  • i know cause youtube's being gay

  • your vids are way to laggy

  • you internet is to slow

  • He's right, it lags if you try to play it and the video hasn't fully loaded. My internet isn't slow, I have cable broadband.

  • Nothing to do with his video. That's YouTube...nothing HE can do about it. Complain @ YouTube.

  • well they just burnt out a filament in slowmo...still cool sure.. but theres no bulb there which makes the title to the video wrong.

  • does anyone know how fast this is in real time?

  • About two seconds. Normal video frame rate is 25 to 30 and this is speeded up by a factor of 20. Thisvideo is almost one minute so 60seconds / 20 = 2 seconds in real time.

  • wow thank you.

  • Much faster than 2 seconds. You can see the AC current going through it, so... like yeah, your not supposed to see that EVER.... probably like 1 second at most.

  • lol it sounds stupid but its like an explotion and then the mushroom cloud comes along

  • hey, guess what..*IT SUCKS!!!*

    keep it comin':))

  • Oh bummer :/

I was hoping it would have that blue flash that lightbulbs do whenver they burn out.

  • jellyfish!!

  • hehehehe this is awsome

  • amazing.

  • Could you make a slo-mo of a bulb burning out with a bright blue flash?

  • apparently when you put A DROP of water on a really really hot light bulb it explodes.... i found that out the hard way. i have the glass in my hand to prove it.

im guessing this is what it looked like right after the glass broke. XD

  • yes because if really hot glass is cooled down too fast it breaks

thats why in chemistry if you are using a bunsen burner with a test tube you have to wait for it to cool down before washing it or youll have no eyes left

  • That happened to a light of mine, the glass around it just shattered for some reason and it turned into a blinding light then burnt out within 3 seconds xD

  • Mini nuke :D

  • that's crazy talk :O

    *is amazed*

  • LOL, filament mushroom.

  • Beautiful!

  • That's great! You can really see the effect of AC.

  • Kewl! my camera is only 100 fps... : ( oh well lol that was kool!!

  • Wow! that was cool!
