For the record, I under stand that this band and other LBU bands have done a lot of work for their local scenes and have gone on many independently booked tours. Huge respect for that, but this does not negate anything I said regarding their lryics or hard man attiudes, I don't believe it has a place in what I would personally refer to as hardcore/punk. Different strokes for different folks but I fail to see how this would appeal to anyone whom would refer to themselves as beenapart of hc/punk.

Early AF put forward ideas of unity and social injustice where as these dudes only talk about they go about kicking peoples heads in. Also, you need to look at NYHC contextually to really understand the choice of lryics at the time; in reference to social and political issues in the city at that time.
