  • hey there again, was wondering if you follow a particular program or if you gave training log somewhere?Or do you go for a record each session? Thanks again

  • @xl507 No log. The basics of my program is pretty simple. I go for a couple dynamic sessions then a heavy one. One day rest and start over.

  • Y a eu des progrès pendant mon rétablissement!! Jolie 160kg à l'incliné 8)

Un ostéo m'a enfin remis en état, grand retour demain!! J'suis tellement excité j'ai envie de tout démonter!^^

Rassure moi, tu t'entraines quand même toujours au Weider?

    A tt bientôt j'espère!!

    Stan

  • I feel cheated, you never maxed out...

  • @dt76028 haha yeah I know... Sorry to let you down bro! :) Now I train at this gym and they don't even have a Squat cage... I felt good on incline tonight too, but no spot either... very frustrating. Hopefully sometimes next week!

  • @chezkenny I know what thats like. My gym doesn't have a squat cage or dumbbells past 100lbs...

  • hello there, was wondering when did you started to train squats with a belt? Have you always trained with it? Cheers

  • @xl507 well I think everytime you Squat a Max weight or near a max it's better to use a belt. Especially with a full breath of air in the stomach and pushing the belly against the belt while holding it. It makes everything more stable and safer. Especially if you can Squat around 2x bodyweight. I start using the belt at 200-240kg but sometimes even on my speed sets, depending on how the lower back feels.

  • Why don't you squat in your Olympic Shoes anymore? I can understand deadlifting flat footed but why the switch for squats?

  • @ptarleton Well I have olympic shoes but I find them really uncomfortable. The are really narrow and the heel is too high. I find it forces me on my toes and I use quads too much already. That said the shoes I use in the vid are bad for Squat as well. The sole isn't hard enough end even when I stand up, the heels kind of come off the ground... But anyways no excuse!!! Should be able to Squat in any shoes really.

  • @chezkenny In comparison to Adidas, the Do-Wins are a wider shoe. I think the heel is relatively high though.

  • @ptarleton I didn't know this brand, just looked it up. I noticed nike and reebok had weightlifting shoes as well. The nike looks great, but 240 bucks.. haha...
