Hi Russell so glad you enjoyed the DVD set! and Yes I an delighted with my decision to fire myself as narrator and hire Michael Corkill who is a professional narrator from Aus. For those listening to this version make sure you click on the link to go to the professionally narrated version! Thanks Russ!
I have a copy of this wonderful set of DVDs - but it's so funny to hear the Canadian voice doing the narration here!! Sorry, Don, but I think you did the right thing by bringing in an "Awzie" voice for the final product!
I love the parrots of Australia! I live in Toronto, Canada and i own a beautiful Green-Naped Lory, named Nikki. She is beautiful and I love her dearly. Your birds are incredible! I love Australia!
Nikki so glad you have enjoyed the video clips and the footage. It was a dream of a lifetime to work on a project like this! Once any parrot lover gets to see all of those wild and free parrots and cockatoos they will never be the same. I know I wont be for sure!
@polytelismedia I haven't shown my lory Nikki your video yet but I am watching it now. It is lovely! Lory's are soooo beautiful!!! My Nikki is so amazing! She is tame and she talks and is bonded to me. She likes my husband but she knows who her soulmate is that's for sure! Thank-you for this beautiful video. Carol in Toronto.
this doesnt show the amazing amount of parrots this guy has actually filmed in australia. This film is looking to be a fantastic piece of work! well done .
How wonderful! Had no idea there were so many kinds of parrotts. So important to respect and protect wildlife. Its a comfort to be reminded of how beautiful the world really is.
This video looks like your best yet, the visual quality of the parrots is amazing. I hope the full-length documentary comes out soon; can't wait to watch it!
Australia is such a fantastic country. It blows many of us that are from North America totally away to see flocks and flocks of these gorgeous birds flying free and wild. Thanks for your kind wishes and I am getting many private messages from people that are excited about this documentary! The narration is a rough draft and will be replaced by a native Australian which should make it shine.
Great looking pictures and a very interesting subject. I'm extremely interested in the "birds of Australia" (the feathered ones) and even have a pet Cockatoo and I've spent amy hours in the bush looking at these unique native birds. No wonder the poachers and smugglers are always trying to smuggle them out of OZ. All the success in the world with your project.
