@clbaumer Yes. Nice Boys was a Rose Tattoo song. Both bands are from a era where the Australian "pub rock" style came from. Tough Australian men and women at the bar rockin out to big riffs and fairly aggresive tunes.

This song is actually based on a true story. The guy was actually called Butch tho and not Butcher, and Fast Eddie lived out in the south eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This is all the info i have. If anyone else out there has more info on the story of this song then please let us all know about it.

theres a story in iron horse magazine back in 78 what ac~dc front man bonn scott says" i love music and have all my life. but i want to be in a situation just like my best friends who are the band rose tattoo because those guys know what its like to be raw every time they play"

i was in a band called fast forward in 79 and played outlaw and nice boys and loved every minute we playe them

You can not even halfway compare them, GnR was more of a glamrock metal band with all the outfits... plus Axls voice is pretty annoying.
