@canihaveursoul the characters have always been saying "kishin", they just translated (subbed) it as "afreet" in the beginning of the series for some reason, not sure why. Kishin can be translated as "god" in japanese, while an "afreet" is a type of supernatural creature in Arabic and Islamic cultures.
