As bastardized as it is in this game, I've always really liked the really "Chinese" parts of the music - almost as much as I like the tones of my native family's Scottish bagpipe music. Is that because they are somehow similar, or because the guy who wrote the music had some kind of subconscious bias towards westernized versions of foreign music, or just because Chinese music is good? Thoughts?

Besides BEAUTY is a rather vague concept, and it's very hard to be quantified and measured like science, I think to ask why we thinks something is beautiful is like asking what it means to be a human, very hard question.
