@JPiiiX Weather or not you have oil on an area in your skin, there's bound to be excess dirt in the area. so I put it all over my face, but I avoid the eye area and it cleans your skin. Hope I answered your question~

I use the Olay astringent and I like it for my T-zone which I clean first then clean my cheeks (I have combination skin). I use it more in the summer after a full day outside and it seems to balance my skin and remove surface dirt effectively. In the winter I just use it sparingly and it doesn't make my skin peel or flake.

i use neutrogena alcohol free toner and it's AWESOME! i wasn't even expecting it to be good because the packaging and the descriptions don't look as impressive as its product competitors i.e olay,loreal. but the toner really helps with my pimples. the toner really cleans out the trapped sebum and dirt in the clogged pores that facial cleanser isnt able to do. so thumbs up!

Well... that's why you take a clean cotton ball and place the cotton ball on the top of the bottle, then apply pressure on the cotton ball and turn the bottle up side down then turn it right side up again, then take the cotton ball off the opening and put it on your face then there you go. You don't pour the liquid onto the cotton ball its not that hard its just called common sense

1. ) Well, I love the OLAY Toner, it works well for me, it like smooths your completion instantly and it also deep cleans it at the same time. I really don't mind the smell its not like it smells bad. It does have a smell of alcohol but only after you first put it on the smell does subside .

Ive used Olay toner for about over a year now, and it works great! My skin looks fresh and clean my redness is completely gone after cleansing. I recommend Olay toner smells dont usually bother me ,but it works great!

I feel like you're letting Paula influence your opinions too much. I agree that she knows about skin care and what the ingredients will do, but she is very biased in her opinions. I also do not agree with her love of mineral oil and petroleum for skin care products.

we didnt enjoy it !!! there is a new Olay refreshing toner which is alcohol free and doesnt smell like medics or alcohol at all and it removed all my black/white heads on nose!!! thanks to Olay

The alcohal free toner is basically for sensitive skins so it wont strip your skin. If you dont have sensitive skin, it will work for you.

I have used many kinds of toners and by far the olay one is the best for my skin. I like the feel of it after i put it on and it does close my pores better than other toners.

If you like it, don't listen to what the book says. But that's just my opinion.

Oh Gosh! I am using the olay refreshing toner and the neutrogena alcohol-free toner Right now, before I saw this video. I though the olay toner had a really great smell ( I thought) kind of smelled like the soap ZEST, it did dry up my skin a bit though. Neutrogena Alcohol-free toner works really well!!! my skin feels hydrated after I cleanse my skin and rub on the toner with a cotton ball. Thanks for the tutorial!!!!! Good insight.

not sure about olay toner, but they do have great anti-aging products. olay is actually under the same main company as SKII and the ingredients that they use are generally the same, just that Olay (being the much much MUCH cheaper line) is more 'diluted'.

It's not bad, but at $19.50 a pop, it could be a bit cheaper. I found that the Sephora brands aren't bad either at around $10.00. But I do LOVE LOVE LOVE the Olay regenerating Serum, I can't go without it!

good pick on the liquid facial soap in mild. The book says it's a good water-soluble cleanser for normal to slightly dry/oily skin. It's completely soap-free and contains gentle but effective detergent cleansing agents that prevent skin from feeling dry or tight. And also fragrance free, and it does a good job taking off makeup!

its exactly how chanelbluesatin says it...its really good..i've been using it for a while and I LOVE IT....as for their moisturizers you have to be more specific because they have quite a few...but I can tell you this, if you're looking for a cheaper one from clinique go for the dramatically different moisturizing GEL(make sure its not the lotion cause that one is just ok) clinique has some other really good lotions but this one is about 30$ for 100ml and some other ones are like 40-60 bucks :)

Just looked it up in the book, and she gave it a sad face. It makes her hurt just to write about it bc the toner's blend of 42% alcohol, eucalyptus, peppermint, and clove oils plus camphor is quite simply an assault on skin. Avoid this product at all costs - she says.

I'd try it out and if you like it go for it, but according to the book and the cosmetic cop - it's bad :( sorry girl

hmm the book says Clinique Clarifying lotion 1, 2, 3, and 4 are BAD (sad faces) - because it lists alcohol as an ingredient which makes the toner irritating for all skin types! It's also too drying even for oily skin ( for lotion 3).

they do say the "Mild Clarifying Lotion" is a good product. It says it's $11.00 for 6.7 ounces, and it puts all the other clarifying lotions to shame with its alcohol-free formula. It contains very good skin-identical ingredients!
