Always missed Wonder Girl on the "Teen Titans" show. I know, I know her backstory was fubared all to hell back then but that team has worked out that stuff before and made it work so they could have too. :)
OK, here's T.Q. Number Four (and this is a tricky one):
You know that Lyle Wagoner (Col. Steve Trevor in the show) was on the Carol Burnett Show. But he also made a cameo appearance on a famous morning game show. What was that game show?
@SuperCartiel Oh wow and Holy Moley...that is tough. Lyle's popularity is such that he has been all over the place. I can think of several game shows that featured him. However, I remember seeing him on the Hollywood Squares during summer vacation when I was a teenager, so I'll take my chances with that answer. How badly am I dating mysefl?
@Aquaman1054 True, he was on the Hollywood Squares, so that counts as a right.
However, I was thinking of a skit he did with Janice Pennington on 'The Price Is Right' (It was a Showcase Showdown; the one in which Janice was set up on a blind date, and he appeared and shocked her!)
And I was a teen when I saw that skit, so I just aged myself!
Trivia Question 2: Who were the actresses who played Wonder Woman and Hippolyta in the first made for TV Wonder Woman movie? (This was the one done in the early 70s, before the Lynda Carter show.)
very good putting together this video of Filmation's take of Wonder Girl.
@ generalhawk1,you have made very clear you think Wonder Girl is cute & cuddly and you want to meet her. You have two problems with this - 1st) Wonder Girl is a FICTIONAL character who only exists in the pages of DC Comics and these Filmation shorts; 2nd) Wonder Girl was supposed to be 16-17,these shorts were made in 1967 and it is now 2011,44 years later. She would now be 60-61 ... think about it

The Teen Titans episodes were part of a rotation of the middle segment of Aquaman. The others were : The Atom, The Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkman, Justice League of America. All had 3 episodes each and most if not all are here on youtube. Wonder Woman, like Batman (& Robin) were not available to Filmation in 1967 as the rights were owned by others.
@srb9 hi i have such a crush on wondergirl rember when the cat shrinks wonderwoman what if wondergirl fell in a bowl of milk iwood dry her off and hold her wood you hold her please write back your friend generalhawk1 ihave photos of her to
This Wonder Girl was probably very, very sexy for the 60s. I watched reruns of this in the begining of the 80s and she was sexy even then. Very empowering even before the X-men. She was the strongest, could fly (unlike most portrayals of WW) and had the magic lasso.
My memory of childhood is sketchy, but she was probably my first cartoon crush ever.
@DUTCHEZ51189 "Sounds like a pervert made Wonder Woman" Actually, it's well known that Wonder Woman"s creator, Dr. William Moulton Marston, had a bit of "bondage" fetish... no lie
@Leonzio5161118 hi ihave such a crush on wondergirl i wish icould hold her she is so cute and culdley iwood bring her to school so my friends could hold her rember when she fainted what if she felll in to bowl of milk pleasewrite back your friend generalhawk1 what do you think of batgirl
In the segment from 0:40 to 0:46, instead of trying to defeat Wonder Girl with ordinary arrows, the villains could had used special arrows that release a powerful sleeping gas when Wonder Girl tries to deflect them with her bracelets. Though she tries to stay awake, Wonder Girl would succumb to the effects of the sleeping gas and the villains would take her prisoner. When Wonder Girl awakens, she is bound with her own magic lasso, which even she cannot break despite her Amazon strength.
In the segment from 0:40 to 0:46, what made these bad guys think that they could defeat Wonder Girl with ordinary arrows? The villains should had used special arrows that fused Wonder Girl's bracelets together when she tried to deflect them;with her bracelets fused together by a man, Wonder Girl would lose her Amazon powers and the villains would have no trouble taking her prisoner. The expression on the face of a weakened Wonder Girl would had been priceless.
Thanks, AdzFlickz, for posting this. I recall seeing this as a child. As you said, the Teen Titans did not have their own series; these were just little shorts inserted into another series (you say "Aquaman," but I don't remember). Apparently, the Titans never caught on, because there were only a handful of these shorts produced. And in the 60s comic books, there were only 4 Teen Titans: Robin, Wonder Girl, Kid Flash, and Aqualad. They didn't start getting new members until the 70s.
wondergirl is so cute and cludy i wood hold her and rock her sing her to slep then take her to my school so my friends could hold her then take her to bed then be there for her if she gets scard write back your friend generalhawk 1 ihave her photo in my cell phone
I never knew there was a Wonder Girl cartoon. Thanks for putting this up. Yes, there has been confusion as to whether Wonder Girl is Wonder Woman as a teenager (that's how it was in WW's "Impossible Tales") or Donna Troy. One of the continuity problems that eventually sank the pre-Crisis WW.
@pisces300 Actually the "black thread" that Wonder Girl twirls around is her magic lasso. Come to think of it, the producers could had done an episode in which the Teen Titans battle a villain with telekinetic powers. When Wonder Girl and Speedy confront the villain, Speedy is knocked out with his own stun arrow and Wonder Girl is bound with her own magic lasso. With Wonder Girl and Speedy both helpless, Aqua Lad and Kid Flash must rescue them and figure out a way to defeat the villain.
good job putting her theme the teen titans song i hear that wonder women becomes a member of the new teen titans generation she supose to be like starfire though other members are robin the new one kid devil is like beastboy ravenger is like raven aka she the daughter of slave and cycbor still in the team
@novagurlreppin13 Yes, it is a bit old; they don't even have the stars on WG's pants. All the same, I thought it was good to see WG made it to animation. She also made it to the first season of Lynda Carter's WW and might even have made it to a spin-off, but things changed completely after the first season.

@blizzard111 Wonder Girl's flying technique in these "Teen Titans" cartoons reminds me of the footage of Superman flying in the color episodes of "Adventures of Superman". Actually, the producers could had done an episode in which villains use an anti-gravity beam on Wonder Girl;unable to fly, Wonder Girl hits the ground so hard that the impact renders her unconcious. When Wonder Girl awakens, she is tied to a chair with her hands bound by a man and is too weak to escape.
This version of Wonder Girl is based on the comic books;in the comic books, Wonder Girl flies while Wonder Woman rides the air currents but needs a plane to travel long distances. Also, in the comic books, Wonder Woman becomes powerless when her hands are bound by a man;I don't recall this happening to Wonder Girl, but I do remember an isssue of "Teen Titans" in which a villian ties up Wonder Girl with her own magic lasso and orders the lasso to paralyze her.
Always missed Wonder Girl on the "Teen Titans" show. I know, I know her backstory was fubared all to hell back then but that team has worked out that stuff before and made it work so they could have too. :)
