notice how the first guy when he stopped the one shot he kept his hands behind it...on all the other shots he let them slip to the sides. i think the gloves look like they'd work fine but the guy doesnt know what he's doing. also most keepers won't be catching a shot that close with their hands..itd be with their body

pretty sure that his hands were not in the correct goalie catching position, I could be wrong.... im not a goalie.

They're not. His hands are just up. No goalkeeping positioning at all.

The value here is ultimately decided by repeated use, getting past the learning curve. I'd take any performance improvement along with better finger protection, even if it's "only" 10 to20%. Better is better!

As a goalkeeper, I have to say, both gloves look like they suck bad. The non-webbed gloves don't catch anything, and from point blank they should. The Black spider gloves are the same. They catch one of four. Not good. Either the gloves suck or the guy sucks, or both.

I'd say both... there's a reason that NO professional keeper uses 'webbed' gloves... you have to make a 'W'... I *AM* a goalkeeper, and these guys don't know how to catch!
