  • can't wait for FALLOUT RL.

  • Strange choice to use Jupiter for the biggest bomb detonation... a little too cheery methinks

  • Is the narrator a robot ?

  • @Kaynos yes

  • Detonating on the ground is about the worst way to use it... You should be doing airbursts... L2nuke.

  • see all those white rings around the H-bomb the reason there white is that the bast is breaking the speed of sound!

  • Did you know sound travels much slower than light? It really hurts to watch all those stupidified explosion clips with instant boom.

  • 27 people tried to hide in a fridge.

  • All that destructive power pales compared to a 6 mile wide asteroid. Just sayin'.

  • Salted bombs.. now these things are the real danger.

  • If I'm gonna go out from a Tsar Bomb I wanna ride that bad boy all the way down! Woo Hoo!!! Ride'em cowboy!

  • such happy music as the most powerful nuclear device in the world goes off

  • I actually feel sorry for whoever would try to pull this shit. We would wipe them clear off the map. No tactical crap.50KT Hydrogen ICBM's trident multiple independents. Goodbye A**HOLES! President would sprain his finger from hitting the button so much. That's what country or terrorist just don't get it. It doesn't matter if you destroy have the country, we will still come back and kick your ass!

  • @lynch81mc America, you aernt #1 anymore. Russia would kick your huge fat asses.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 actualy its china that america has to be scared of because theyre the only country that has enough money to invade

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 Stop being so stryotypical. Only 1/3rd of the US is obese. And also @synystervancobain (Your name is so fucking hard to spell) we won't need money after WWIII coz everything will be gone.

  • @KoolKidKarl2k8 Hahahaha Russia!? You've got to be joking. Russia is a joke. They had trouble fighting Georgia which is about the size of a baseball field. And whenever they have a hostage crisis their "tactics" involve killing all the women and children due to inability to execute an operation correctly. I'm not to worried about Russia, nor should anyone be.

  • @rltw04 America is a bigger joke. Talking about being #1 when their debt is so fucking huge they will go bankrupt any time soon. You know why everyone hates america, cos your all so obnoxious, ignorant idiots. And just as bad as Russia is China. Unlike you, they are not scared to invade and get shit done.

  • I actually feel sorry for whoever would try to pull this shit. We would wipe them clear off the map. No tactical crap.50KT Hydrogen ICBM's trident multiple independents. Goodbye A**HOLES! President would sprain his finger from hitting the button so much.

  • i was thinking ground zero means the place in new york, but that term has been coopted in 9/11 terminology. now that i think about it, ground zero was really meant for hiroshima, nagasaki and any theoretical/potential a-bombs.

also, why didn't you just do a voice-over yourself rather than use Stephen Hawking-like speaking tools?

  • @okonh0wp ground zero means the place where that thing exactly happened

so ground zero here means the place where the nuke went KA-BOOM!:)

  • No matter how much the video is good,it suck that it have computer generated voice!

  • poor choice of music

  • It should be noted that this simulates only the effects of the blast wave, not the effects of thermal and ionizing radiation. Thermal radiation would greatly extend the area of destruction created by thermonuclear warheads by incinerating things that would otherwise survive the blast itself.

  • Also think about this, hackers have been able to penetrate the Department of Defense and play pranks on them. But imagine some nutjob was able to hack into NORAD or SAC and he inadvertantly causes the outbreak of World War III! Just because the Cold War is over does not mean the possibility of a nuclear hellfire being unleashed somewhere has vanished. In fact, I think the number of threats has dramatically increased.

  • consequences of a coup de tat that brings in a radical government, or terrorists hijacking a nuclear weapons silo in Pakistan, then they launch warheads at their religious rivals in India, or at Israel, or even at Russia or China. Within hours or days, eventually an ally of the United States or the United States itself would be attacked, and the full bore of our nuclear arsenal is unleashed. Armageddon.

  • @UninsaneRocker

Neither Pakistan nor India is crazy enough to attack each other knowing fully well the consequences. Not even a fanatical islamist leader of Pakistan would ever do something so utterly stupid. Also how the hell will a group of terrorists (most of which are just a band of bandits wearing sandals and AK47's) going to overrun top secret sites guarded by government forces who by themselves can't fire weapons without being given clearence codes?

  • even a small "suitcase nuke" would have disasterous effects. That is why nuclear proliferation must cease, that is why we cannot allow a nuclear Iran or a nuclear North Korea, that is why all nuclear warheads must be dismantled! The detonation of one bomb anywhere would change the world forever, and possibly lead to a delayed, slow motion version of Global Thermonuclear War. Think about this, Pakistan, an Islamic country known to have problems with terrorism, is nuclear armed. Imagine the dire

  • @UninsaneRocker

Pakistan has the "terrorists" exactly where they want them. On one side they see through their fingers when it comes to them, but it is clear they know exactly how to get rid of them should they cause "national problems". These terrorists are all bark and no bite. They have very little influence even in Pakistan and no politician would ever dare backing them. Unless Pakistan goes through some "Islamic revolution" which failed in Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, the risk is minimal.

  • 9/11 would look like a cakewalk. We would have thousands of people instantly vaporized and hundreds more burned and hundreds of others bathed in radiation. And mass decontamination units? HA! They're a joke! "Just wash off, you'll be ok." After one of those goes off, you better not eat or drink, because if you ingest a microscopic alpha particle, you're dead. You will die of internal bleeding due to radiation sickness. Years afterward, we would have thousands of cancer deaths. So as you can see,

  • @UninsaneRocker

Ever heard about "Nuclear Winter"? Very nasty scenario for even those who survived in the places not hit.

For the effects on society watch the BBC Drama documentary "Threads" from 1984. It can be found here on youtube. It deals with the longterm effects with the lack of resources and manpower for those few trying to rebuild a shattered Britain. Basically without electricity and water people are back in the Middle Ages.

Warning. "Threads" is extremely dark and bleak. Brutal.

  • @McLarenMercedes Of course I've heard of nuclear winter and yes I've seen Threads.

  • This is why the proliferation of nuclear arms must immediately be ceased and all nuclear armed countries dismantle their nuclear arms programmes. It is INSANE that the human race makes weapons capable of destroying the planet! I am all for defending my country, but not if it means killing billions of people! By the way, that smallest device, the Davy Crokett nuke, something like that could be assembled by a terrorist in his basement with the proper tools and if it went off in say, Times Square,

  • cool

  • this is fallout 3 all over again

  • Obama would just look out his window and just go "Awww heeell naw!"

  • Better have 1,000,000,000 Sunblock on, or you're toast.

  • god ens this madness by using a meteor on russia

  • Don't worry, i will only hurt for a minute.

  • haha, Why must you speak like Speed Racer? haha

  • I turned it off after two minutes. I could not hear the narration through the music.

  • i live near dc if tsar detonates im screwed

  • holy shit, the second one makes fallout 3 sound pretty acurate, assuming that a bomb went off near or on the white house as apposed to the washington monument

  • The music makes it almost comical :-(

  • turn down the FUCKING MUSIC!

  • What is the name of the tool that you have used.

  • why even make this?

  • Great video. It gives me an idea how far from ground zero im to be when a nuclear bomb goes off. However, im based in the UK so im fucked either way!!

  • try explaining the current effects of a tactical thermo nuclear ICBM warhead...bitch

  • Structurally DC would be juuust fine. All the buildings are just like gigantic solid bricks. I fucking hate that place.

  • Thanks for theis, but please, why not simply speak and annotate the video with a real-live human voice?

  • Actually,cory18011801, if a nuclear bomb explodes on the suface all of the dust sucked up by the explosion is irratiated and blown over long distinces.

  • i hope meny countris around the worlget nuclear weapons so the united state stop messing around. jejejejejjejejejj

  • @TheBroadway135 Your complete lack of intelligence is an obvious detriment to your well being.

  • microsoft mike read this

  • Overall, A very good video. Next time you should do the extent of the fallout cloud from all of the bombs listed in this video.

  • Sounds like Stephen Hawking on too much coffee

  • now the u.s. and russia are going to go down to 1500 nuke weapons on each side. that does not account for other countries that have nuclear weapons. if we end up in an all out nuclear war, with our enemies, i hope and pray it gets over quick, becuase the devestation brought on by one tsar bomba would be bad enough, times that by a 1000 or more??? the end of human existence as we know it, IF it does come down to that. I HOPE NOT!!!

  • Are you a physicist?

  • Thank you for posting. I cried. I will show this vid to my grandson and tell him,"I am so sorry that we left this world to you. I only hope you can save it because we have destroyed it".

  • @paintingmymasterpiec

You still stuck in the 60's friend?

We aren't worried about nukes anymore.

  • @cory18011801 YOU'D better be worried, it probably wont be the russians or the chinese, it would probably be someone like IRAN, OR PAKISTAN. be very VERY worried my friend.

  • @globemaster68

    Nah, I'm good.

  • @cory18011801

Actually, yes we are... Not from China or the Soviet Union, but from Iran and Korea DPR (north/communist)

  • @ThePhantom710

    Alright, well I'm not.

Maybe there is a threat from there, but I honestly just am not worried.

  • i like explostion more than anyone but... iw would never use a atomic bomb

mabye a scater.. or napalm those are like kittens compared to a nuke

  • what is the difference between nuclear and thermo-nuclear ?

  • @justilhetop Mmm? Think fire cracker to atomic bomb!! Put it this way. A hydrogen bomb requires an atomic bomb just to start it. Where as a nuclear weapon has an upper limit to its yield. A hydrogen bomb "theoretically" has no upper limit. A 200 megaton weapon is possible. To put that in visual perspective. Think of about 4000 air craft carriers packed with TNT. Now light the fuse.. and run. Tsar bomb would produce 3rd degree burns at 100 miles.

    Fucking insanity eh?

  • I cant hear you over MELTING CITY!

No really, watch llamas with hats 4

  • lol if u think about it... if u like what u have today, then u'll say i love nuclear technology... since nearing the late cold wars we developed further into the nuclear tech to get what we got today :D

though i think it would be much longer if we skip the nuclear age and try to get where we r now.

  • all long as their is man their will be war

  • oooooh yeaaaaa... and they say aerosol cans and shit are the cause of global warming... even tho global warming is a myth lol

  • got to love the computer narration :D :D :D i-so-love-to-make-them =D

  • Wow, imagine driving towards the city when all of a sudden you see the blast so bright that even though your eyes are closed, its like looking directly into the sun. Then all you see is the mushroom cloud and the shock wave heading right towards you...scary

  • micrsoft sam?

  • damn, 100 MIllion Degrees

  • banzai buddy!

  • Shit son, you scared me...

  • "let's Nuke the Site from Orbit."

  • @rangeclerk ``Its the only way to be sure"

  • @carlitoshello LOL!

  • you guys have a lot of memorials

  • i hope we drop one of those tsar bombas on north korea. those dumb slant eyed gooks

  • @HighOnSkateboarding I hope we drop one of those tsar bombas on USA. Those dumb stinky yakees.

  • @UnitedKorean And i wish the same for Korea, the tzar boma has the capacity to go up to 100 mega tons

  • @theemann12 You should do some research on the place where Russia did all of their nuke tests from 1949-1989 then tell me why we should ever drop another one. Ignorance is the greatest evil.

  • @UnitedKorean I am so sorry that media exists, without it there would be far less ignorance in the world. Why are you so angry at the U.S? Is there anything you have learned on your own, or are you just repeating what you've heard. To wish an entire nation would be nuked make one appear quite mad.

  • Well, I'm fucked if that Tsar Bomba goes off

  • @germanfuzaloo 1/3 of my country is fucked if that goes off in the right place :D

  • funny voice

  • 100 million degrees would ignite our own atmosphere...

  • The holocaust museum getting nuked, now THAT's ironic.

  • @Uberstroker *insert trollface here*

  • This guy sounds like the voice on a Speak-n-Spell

  • @619VTEC619 You mean a type and speak.

  • what would happen to frederick maryland??...lol

  • @dregh94cr no speaky cockface language

  • @HighOnSkateboarding idiot is not english is italian use the translate by goggle

  • @HighOnSkateboarding why you must offend me stupid american fat boy go to fuck stupid nerd of shit without girlfriend

  • Creepy...

  • you shold play fallout 3 and make a map of where and what types of nuclear weapons where used on the captol for fun pleas

  • @anamarvelo yea we been there man,we lived it.....

  • Anybody else feel like they need to go to a vault now?

  • Wow..... reminds me of Fall out....

  • man, its hard to imagine what would happen if it really happen in modern times

  • Thats scary shit... how can a person invent such a thing?... is destruction really seen as a beautiful thing?

  • I can't hear anything with this shity music >:(

  • Your video is informative and FUCKING SCARY!!!

  • Why does the narrator sound like Stephen Hawking after smoking bad weed?

  • Nicely done! I dont think you took radiation damage into effect though! That last one would have after a few days killed the whole east coast!

  • Gustav Holst 'Mars The Bringer Of War'. Our time as Babylon the Great will soon end. Thank you for your enlightening video.

  • What about Montgomery Mall? Could I still go shopping?

  • i just farted

  • lulz...

  • Yahweh help us from this this madness.

  • whats the point of this queer robotic voice?

  • it's mc hawking

  • how far would i need to be to just get a sun tan???

    for the tzar bomba??

  • @evilferret132 Not sure about a sun tan, but for first degree burns on any exposed areas of the skin you would need to be within about 80 miles of the blast radius, not counting curvature of the Earth or obstacles. Rough estimate.

  • good video

  • THE MUSIC IS NOT NEEDED IF THIS IS INFORMATIVE VIDEO !!!!

  • your voice is sort of annoying; don't try to sound like a discovery channel host!

  • HOLY SH*T!!!!!! i didnt know there was any thing stronger than a hyjrojin bomb D:

  • @kiwininja100 The Tsar is a hydrogen bomb it just a multi stage device that originally was about 100 MT but they cut back to about 55 because of fall out

  • Comment removed

  • i didn't think the bombs left actual craters that many feet deep! is that right?

  • why dont you guys start nuking moscow for christ sake you guys make it look like america is a motherfucking racist shity fucking 3rd world country slum town capital

  • New York is the obvious choice for this video. DC is an abnormal town in may ways. Moreover, all the landmarks that people know are too close to ground zero. No one knows where most of these outer places are--including me, and I have a lot of geography in my noodle and have put some significant time in on the ground in DC.

Also, the pace of the video is too slow. The depictions of the PSI lines are good. The concept is great--such a video is needed and you have many strong elements here.

  • worst invention nuclear bombs in general

  • i stayed at a hotel 4 or 5 blocks away from where all this was happening :/

  • good

  • good

  • they just get bigger and bigger lol

  • Use 100 tons of TNT on the Washington monument now!

  • @haroldlin have with the men in black suits showing up at your door tomorrow

  • Comment removed

  • and pray do tell, just how much energy is lost from one brick wall?

  • Not to mention the average Russian bomb is probably 1 MT or smaller.

  • OMG!

  • brb

    gonna play Fallout 3

  • Hawking talks better.

  • @Nitrozzy7 Yes.. :) :)

  • reminds me of Fallout 3

  • sounds like stephen hawking

  • america your screwed

  • 7:54 = when my mom farts lol

  • It is hard to tell what they have now...! it's been what about 60-70yrs ?

  • People that built those weapons are insane and evil.

  • well without Einstein we would of never figured it out so u can thank him

  • @loveliberty1776 leave it to the ussr to build a weapon that could destroy the east coast of the US with only a handful of bombs

  • @loveliberty1776 America did it too, not just Russia,,,

  • @loveliberty1776 the people who made the atomic bomb were young adults who had no idea what they were doing and begged for the bomb not to be used in warfare once they saw the result of its use.

  • @loveliberty1776 i really agree

  • @loveliberty1776

I rather think that people who command to use such weapons 'are insane and evil',

but not these ones who built that.

Such bomb is just effect of nuclear physics - someone had to have the nukes first :-) .

For example, Nazists were really close to so called 'dirty' nuclear bomb. But even if not Nazists (because they had not got the bomb) - next could be maybe Soviets.

    I greet you.

  • @loveliberty1776 i think hitler made the first one

  • I-found-your-vid-eo-enter-tain-Ing

  • w8, you could nuke the washington monument and not damage the white house? I think your forgeting the three area vaporization, veryveryveryveryveryveryvery hotness, and hotness zones.

  • i think you werent paying attention the only way the white house would not be completely gone is if it was a tac nuke there much smaller

  • @Koptfoeva

no no no no no...no. I don't care if its Ktons or Mtons a NUKE in that vicinity would annihilate the white house, be it by vapourization or sheer heat which, incase you haven't watched how to survive a nuclear blast, is VERY, hot.

of course it would just wreck the building and not...other places nearby...(IE down ;) )

  • @KKinsane2009, you have no idea what you're talking about, please, type no more.

  • @MagicJigPipe

whatever mr know everything. I do know what im talking about and if you honestly think i'm wrong you need to go look again at your math. nuke near white house = no white house. simple as.

  • davey crocket O_o good luck avoiding the blast XD

  • we are screwed in the ass on this one

  • I feel bad for the monument..

  • WE'RE FUCKING SCREWED!!!!!

  • this is awsome

  • THIS IS FREAKING AWESOME !!

  • i keep thinking about the game fallout 3 when i was watching this video

  • love this video

  • nice video :D what's the song name.

  • i live in the middle of rockville, MD, do u think i would survive if that last bomb were to be dropped?

  • probably not because radiation from the fallout

  • Sorry "wdeaver7", but only if you were in a well sheltered area, severe damage to all houses and moderate damage to all concreate structures in that area.

  • @xPunisher12x what most people don't realize is that these calculations do not take into account energy loss of the bomb/blast due to terrain and destruction of structures. I don't care how big the bomb is you can't get away from conservation of energy. The more stuff it destroys the weaker it gets. These calculations come from detonations in the middle of a flat desert. Take from that what you will.

  • 1. Put Satan 26mt bomb into NY central

    2. See 15 million people melt away

  • wrong all wrong it is not 10 min lessons ;p

  • Computer voice narration sucks.
