  • My weapon of choice.

  • It is a shame we don't see more spear demonstrations. Everyone seems to love the kama and nunchau, but (imo) the spear is one of the most elegant weapons I've ever seen.

  • Seriously slick, beautiful to watch, thank you :)

  • I learnt this in Los Angeles with Cynthia Rothrock.

  • excellent....perfect job congratulations!!!

i study lam family hung kuen in greece

i respect the ying jow pai and also we have very good relationship with the greek sifu of ying jow pai

  • my jhong law horn or (mizong louhan) has a double headed spear form. cool to see some of thos peking moves in there and the 3 cyclonic kicks in the end is pretty cool. good job mr lee.

  • This is an advance rare double headed spear form with roots from Ching Mo, I believe, and handed down from Grandmaster Ng Wai Nung to Grandmaster Leung Shum in NYC. Martial arts techniques are found in "all traditional" Chinese forms. The training and application is obviously coordination, dexterity, flow, balance, soft hard power, & focus. The visible martial applications are there while the advance ones are only detectable based on your advance skill level.

    Regards,

    Master Benson Lee

  • FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

  • I've never seen such skill with such a amazing weapon !

Does any other sect know how to use a double headed spear ?

  • I think Wushu, the Five Animal System, and Shaolin has this weapon as part of their training. The longer single headed spear seems to be in more systems though and why it is seen more.

  • @XiaoLinLong if you practise it is easy

  • Anyone who has learned and mastered a Chinese style spear form will recognize many of the techniques unique to the Chinese spear. There are at least a handful of spear techniques that are standard in many if not all Chinese martial arts styles. There are moves in this form that are found in Praying Mantis, Hung Gar, Choy Lee Fut. If you don't recognize them, perhaps a little more research is due.

  • this form proves nothing, other than he can spin it. What martial (military) application does this form provide?

  • I see on your page you "say" your really into kung fu. There are many applications here and one day maybe you will see them. Good luck with your training.

  • What event/tournament was this?

  • yay master lee

  • Nothing less than spectacular.

  • amazing
