Although the video was good, wearing high heels over a period of time are detrimental to the feet and can be crippling. It also causes poor spine alignment. Feet are far too important for painful high heels. Sorry. :-(

Short women should always wear high heels. With a half inch hidden platform a 4 inch heel is only 3 1/2 inch lift on the heel and can be worn 24 / 7 in comfort. Everyone should try it. Also size and a good fit, a round toe shoe is easy on the foot also.

My most common high-heel mishap, I'm sorry to admit, is losing them. I like the way high heels look when they're on; but I LOVE the way they feel when they're off. In the last year unfortunately, once at the library and twice at a restaurant, I've gotten up to leave and my high heels are simply gone. Not only did I have to walk out barefoot, but I had to accept that someone had actually crawled under the table and taken my shoes. Is it fetishism, or just a desire to enjoy my humiliation?

most likely a fetish, but if you like foot rubs you could always find a guy (doesn't even have to be a boyfriend) who would give you some, that way you don't have to take them off so much, and you'll still feel better when you get home hehe

you know, MOST clothes are designed to look good instead of being practical or good for health

for example skirts, no one would try to tell someone not to wear a skirt, but think about it, you can't run in it, you can't climb in it(for whatever reason). With cold air it you might catch a cold, perverst might be able to peek under them. Overall trousers are better, yet no one says "wear trousers instead of skirts"

When I was going to job interviews in the late 80s I was always told not to wear trousers because it was "unprofessional". So the only "appropriate" thing is a pencil skirt. A straight, knee length skirt and you cannot run in it or take big steps or climb or sit any way you want. I suppose it looks nice, but I think the idea that it's the one of the only appropriate office attire for a woman is sexist.

But its not really sexist, just the norm. A guy can't go to an office job interview in tshirt and jeans too, he has to wear a suit and so a woman(back then, nowdays its different as we know) had to wear a skirt. It's like uniforms.

why does no one consider the size of the shoe wearer's foot?

Short feet or toes don't tolerate very high heels.

Think about it: a shorter foot has to make a steeper angle to get the back 5 inches off the ground AND leaves a smaller part leftover at the ball of the foot on which to balance. THAT's why some people can't walk in high heels. Shorter toes.

It also means guys probably would find a 5'' heel easier than women, with their longer feet.

If you need coaching to wear heels that are 4 inch or under , you have no business wearing heels. If the shoe has 5 inch or higher , I can understand it. Netiher of the shoes worn in this video are that high to warrant coaching. I could sprint in those wimpy height heels.
