  • Yeah it's hard to understand you.. the background music..

  • Either remove the background music or speak at an audible volume please. I can barely understand a word you're saying.

  • You have a good voice to be a host for a golf game.

  • Omg thank you so so much! I was so confused.... Literally!

  • anyone has a serial code for it or even a crack?

  • @Realmetalriffs sure! You can get a serial right here: ableton[dot]com/shop.

  • @Realmetalriffs grow up man... this is so cheap!

  • @MyLifeChanger Actuallyy its not a question of money or smth else...its just i dont have that Creadit card yet..lol

  • @Realmetalriffs such a stupid question to ask on this video

  • so im just wondering if you can record a song on a guitar using a mixer/soundboard, (an R16 from Zoom in case your wondering) onto an sd card and load it into ableton and use ableton as your studio to edit/produce each song. just wondering

  • @FilmsDevastation This is definitely possible - just load the WAV files into Live and you're good to go.

  • CAN SOMEONE HELP PLEASE??

Just got Ableton 7 - I know I'm late, love the program, upgrading soon, but in the meantime I only have ONE question. Is there ANY WAY AT ALL to be able to view a Real-Time peak-level monitor in 'Arrangement View?' I'm VERY anal about adjusting levels and I like to observe peak levels real-time and edit accordingly. PLEASE HELP, anyone, it's driving me nuts.

    Thanks.

  • put a spectral analyzer in there called

     'spectrum'

also you can see on the far right the level

  • I had the most fustrating time with ableton live because of the fucking loop!! "I WANT TO PLAY THAT LOOP ONLY FUCKING 8 TIMES NOT 40000 TIMES FOR FUCKS SAKE!!!"

  • Wait a minute, I know that voice! Huston Singletary is really Jeff Goldblum!

  • you're right, huston must be his music producer alter ego

  • kind of a cool background song

  • this guy has a great voice for this

  • Well he apparently knows what he's talking about, this video was uploaded by the AbletonInc Channel. :D

  • i am importing a song and i want to export it with differenrt bps..how can i do it???for example my song is 128bpms and i want it in 126??thank yyou

  • it`s on the top of your ableton screen on the left next to the tab key!

    good luck ;)

  • you import it, then send it to the arrangement view.

warp it so the tempo is ok. Then choose 126 bpm in the upper left corner.

then file > export audio file (or something like that)

  • Hey, I put drum loops on the pads of my mpk 49 with the impulse in Ableton so I can use them in my song. But I have a problem I can't get the drum loops ( that I have put in the impulse ) to be synced with the song... Does anyone know know how to sync samples in "Impulse" with the song? thanks

  • que onda esta chido este video

  • thanks for this tut man really helped me in the begining :P and guys i made a trance tune with live could you check it out,,its on my profile thanks =)

  • You can use Pro Tools 8 with most M Audio Sound Cards so you don't necessarily need a Mbox you can get the same thing using Pro Tools M Powered version

  • can someone help me ? can u use pool tools 8 for the pc without connecting the mbox ?

if anyone know please us no !!

  • YES!! I use protools 8 but live has that live view mode..i didn't know how to use it...watching this will help!

  • can someone explain how you create and intro, verse, and chorus?, so that the song isn't the same all the way threw.

  • Hey... I'm not that good at it but.. if you listen to a lot of music... especially pop and rock music.. you can notice which parts of the songs are intro verse chorus verse brige outro are.. and if you study they what the musicians do it... then you can get a better understanding... Hope this helps?

oh yeah and i think theres a thing called AABA form google it..

  • does the mbox work wit live?

  • I'd like to find that out myself.

  • I think so. I'm going to try with mine. Mbox works with cubase - it's the protools software that doesn't work with other hardware.

  • Wish I could hear the voice as good as I could hear the background music. Cool otherwise

  • Big ups Huston, on bringing the amazing world of Ableton to the yearning learners out there. Although I am a few steps further in my production skills. I love to see a company take the lead and teach the people; there are enough haters and money hungry dimwits out there. Drive on Ableton. You're the best!

  • this is great but you almost go to a wisper in several parts of the tutoral. speak up please

  • A truly awesome introduction to this program. I used to use "ableton remix" 5 yrs ago and have since forgot everything! I'm glad I can now learn this version so easily!

  • Thanks man! You're the best!

  • Its great to see a daw company making these videos instead of third party stuff. Steinberg take note.

  • finally! a video which starts right at the beginning of ableton and shows me how much of a noob i am on this program.
