  • You have more money than shinra

  • ... And I can get it at a rate of about 200 million per hour. The video where I have the 176 km/h chocobo is where it shows 1.4 billion. 2.173 or 4.295 billion are values I'm after, the latter especially as that will determine whether gil is a 32-bit integer (most likely) or a 64-bit integer (highly doubtful).

  • @ulillillia highest I ever got ,when I had the game, was 100million from selling mastered all materia.. when I buy this for my ps3 I'm gonna do a perfect game and see if I can max it. So did you find out the maximum gil limit?

  • I haven't touched FF7 since I made these videos. The theoretical limit is either 2,147,483,647 or, more likely, 4,294,967,295. I very strongly doubt a 64-bit integer is used and since negative numbers don't make sense for gil, the 4.3 billion value is the most likely candidate for the max.

  • @ulillillia Well if I find out i'll let you know.

  • genius.

  • can anyone help becuse im at the gold saucer and i can't seem to find that on person that everyone kepts saying is at the front entrence of the gold saucer when dose he show up

  • @sindarkheart1 if your talking about the gp you have to keep taking the train thingy into the gold saucer.and right above the save that costs 5 gp to use,the guy will be behind the house but hes only there sometimes to you have to keep getting on and off the train until he is there.

  • Master Command+Mime(mastered)+Mime+Master Magic=total ownage!

  • nice materia...so far i play i only farm counter materia until 10 haha..so fun

  • @ulillillia Yes, I realized that as soon as I pressed enter. My bad.

  • Why do you have 3 mimes? A hack?

  • Why is it that most seem unaware of the fact that, if any piece of materia (underwater excluded) reaches maximum level, you'll get a new one of the same materia, always with 0 AP. If I recall, "mime" requires 100,000 AP. If you acquire that much, 3 things happen. You'll see a "mime was born" on the exp/ap screen at the top, "master" appears in that materia's AP (you might have seen that on the Sephiroth event where Cloud was level 1), and a new "mime" materia is added to the list with 0 AP.

  • haha, I was thinking those fools cant do her limit break, to which i was correct, but then it got to yuffie, and I was like oohhh...i get it

  • what weapon was that that cloud was weilding?

    nice vid

  • 255 all stats. from morphing sources. i have the geatest save of all time

  • hey how do u get the mime materia im on disc 3. is it to late r can i still get it .if i can some one plz tell me.

  • As long as you have a special chocobo, you can get it at any time in the game, probably even disk 1 (though you'll need a Gameshark and the related to get the chocobo, if such a code exists). I don't have a Gameshark for the PS1. The earliest possible without cheats is upon getting the Highwind which, if I recall, is when you start renting chocobo stalls which should also be when you can start the breeding. I think you need a black chocobo to get it but I don't recall....

  • that w item thing is the best things eva!!, that glitch of course and how you duplicate items.. its pretty sweet.. i mean its pratically useless.. unless you your breeding choco's xD

  • W-item is very useful when you're at my eighth leveling ground. The magic pot, worth 8000 EXP and 1000 AP a piece, is among the best of all, but you have to give them an elixir in order to defeat them. W-item to the rescue for an unlimited supply of elixirs (otherwise, you'll have to morph the dino near Bone Village for them).

  • yah, thats true too.. i remeber i was doing that too when i was lvl 70.. it was pretty sweet... you lvl like soo fast lolzx xD

  • Final Fantasy 6 has the fastest leveling I've ever seen, even faster than FF7. Level 98 to 99, needing 82,000 or so EXP is obtained in just 3 minutes (see my "fastest leveling in the second world" video for details)! I've had cases of gaining 2 levels in one battle in FF6... even at level 45! It's the fastest I've ever seen levels being gained! Final Fantasy Tactics is a close second - I have a video where I gain 10 levels in 10 minutes... stealing gil.

  • I'm not sure if you can even be considered a cheater when you duplicate Elixirs at the end of the game.

I mean, it's so easy to just backtrack and steal from Tonberries, but it's TEDIOUS.

  • It's actually a glitch in the game - it's what happens when you use W-item to select the item you want to duplicate, select another, but then repeatedly select it and cancel.

  • i got questions where can i get some sprint shoes, and ribbon also when i use omnislash on the emerald weapon cant i just keep mimeing it are will i die by the time i try it again also where is a good place to level up my materia right now im lvling them up at that sunken ship gelnika are something like that

  • If you have W-item (diggable in Bone Village if you missed it at the end of disk 2) and are on disk 3, the left path, where the path splits in 2, is the best place for leveling. If not on disk 3 yet, but you have the Highwind (which should be the case for you), my seventh leveling grounds are the best - the forest around Mideel. Unless you're after morphing bad rap and poodler (for raising luck and dexterity), the Gelnika isn't really the best place for leveling.

  • Im sorry but ur not real specific on were this 2 seperate paths are and im on disc 3 and isnt there another way to get W-item??? and still how to i get sprint shoes???

  • If you're on disk 3 and you don't have the W-item materia, there's no other alternative for getting it outside Bone Village. You should've gotten it while you were doing the Midgar raid event (head south along those tracks, a lot south). If you don't want W-item, you'll either have to spend time morphing this dinosaur-like enemy (name starts with V and is near Bone Village) to get elixirs. If you don't want that either, then use my seventh leveling ground instead.

  • then i guess i cant get it well i got the W-summon thing that lets me summon twice is that helpful?

  • I practically never use summons after FF6. The reason is that their animations take too long. The only time I ever use summons in FF7 is to just see their effects for the first time and for the battle against Ruby Weapon. Beyond that, I have no use for them. My primary method to defeating enemies is physical attacks. Even magic usage is rare outside cure and life.

  • Nice Vid!

    Your as mental as Me!

Have you ever gone on a Myth-Busting mission?

I have managed to attain 8-Mastered KotR Materia in an attempt to see if the Weapons Maker would make me an Excalibur!?

    Alas he did not! =[

  • If you're looking to raise attacking power, just max your strength instead, done by morphing heavy tank (see my "how to max strength" video). This way, even with the weakest weapon, you'll do just as much damage as you would with the strongest weapon. Once you max luck out and get slash-all, you'll practically always do 9999 damage to all enemies (5800 or so on occasion).

  • how did u get more than 1 mime

  • Easy - get the 100,000 AP for the materia's second level and see what happens.

  • Mastering it. After you master any materia, you get another one at level 0.

  • Wrong. It's level 1, not 0.

  • how long and how (what technique) did you master KotR?

i find it the most annoying among all other materias...

    botting?

  • See my "fastest gil" video. Put KotR on a triple growth weapon or armor and get the 166,667 AP needed to master it (it's actually 500,000, but reduced due to growth). Instead of mastering alls, you'd, instead, master KotR.

  • i did the same thing but it took almost 3hrs!!!!!

    so long..........

  • ... and in that time, I'd have enough 150 million gil in my party's pockets....

  • orh hell...

    i need 1,2,3......

8 master summons for my characters!

how the hell will tat happen?

taking drugs and being drunk and play FF7?

    i dun think so dude!

  • Defeat Emerald Weapon and trade the item for a master magic, master command, and master summon. It's a free one right there. You really should only need 3 master X. I prefer 6 master commands (for HP and MP absorb being junctioned to one, for deathblow).

  • i'm avoiding emerald n tat other one.

if i kill them than what the fun next time?

  • Save the game before the weapon twice, and just save on 1 file after defeating weapons.

  • wtfh?!?!? i got the limit highwind item but cid won't learn wtf's the deal with that?

  • You have to have all 6 limits available. Higher level limits become available after defeating about 80 enemies. The second in the group becomes available after using the limit about 8 times. I often prefer to use the midgar zolom early on for this - easy limits. Hypers also help.

  • So basically, if you have mime. Every monster in FF7 becomes childs play :P

  • Mega-all + HP absorb junctioned to mime is the most basic all-around set up - you almost won't need magic.

  • You don´t need magic overall just in some early bosses but then magic is basically useless (at least ofensive magic). By the way Tifa´s limit breaks can be mimed or not?

  • For speeding through battles for faster leveling (like I did with my 4th leveling grounds), magic is quite useful. I mainly only use cure. Magic is often quite limiting and considerably weaker than physical attacks so I often don't use it. FF6 is the opposite - magic is often quite a bit stronger.

  • can anyone tell me how to get the mime materia

    plzzzz

  • i like doom of the living better than all creation as well. same goes for barret's ungarmax (spelling?) versus his catastrophe

  • The bulk of this is due to that annoying damage limit... right?

  • correct.

  • how to u get the mime materia?

  • You should check out the "chocobo-only areas" video that I've posted (part of the FF7 series).

  • how did you get 3 mimes? i thought there is only 1 in the game?

    ans.

if you master the materia mime.

    the materia will be duplicated

  • how did you get 3 mimes? i thought there is only 1 in the game?

  • Easy - what happens when you get the 100,000 AP the materia needs and it gets that last level? You get a new one, right? Well, if you replace the old one with the new one and get the 100,000 AP again, what happens? Yep, another new one. That's three right there. Easy, huh? This works with all materia, except "underwater". I don't know about "enemy skill", however.

  • ooooh i see! thnxs!

  • Another option is "master command", but you have to master all 7 commands and have the yellow huge materia available to get it (or defeat emerald weapon and trade the item in for it (and 2 others)).

  • i love how your time is completely maxed out, lol

random question, when's the earliest you can get Yuffie? I couldn't find any trees before Kalm

  • I don't quite know. I get Yuffie during the time of my fifth leveling grounds, due to a forest containing a fast way to gain EXP.

  • you can get her at litteraly anytime, just gotta be able to kill her ;)

  • It's basically a forest, the first you see. Yuffie is easy for me to defeat. If I can take on Emerald Weapon in under 4 minutes twice and even Ruby Weapon while solo, then you can get a hint that Yuffie is a simpleton.

  • twin viper?

    why not rising sun????

  • Twin viper - double growth. My strength is maxed so weapon attack power makes no difference (Cloud's buster sword and apocalypse do the same damage, but have different accuracy and materia slots/growth). If you haven't noticed that I have over a billion gil, you can see why I'm going with double growth (and why only all materia is on there - 320 gil per AP gained). Cid is the same - all "all" materia in the double growth weapon giving another 400 gil per AP gained.

  • The Rising Sun also has double growth, but a better attack rate (68/108%) and has the same number of slots, but linked in pairs. You can obtain it by stealing form Diamond Weapon.

  • I practically never steal from enemies, especially bosses. With bosses, it's almost entirely the "attack" command, unless something is better like deathblow with an apparent 100% success rate (at least 99.95%).

  • My maxed characters sometimes miss Deathblow, which I also enjoy abusing. It depends on the enemy's evasion stat I guess. My favorite self-imposed "challenge" is to acquire everything in the game, so I steal a lot.

  • Evasion isn't it, it's luck. By maxing the luck, you can pretty much guarantee getting deathblow to work. Watch my video for the battle arena and you'll see that I use deathblow every single time and it never misses, except on enemies that are indeed hard to hit.

  • Don't the enemies hart to hit have a high evasion? I think it depends on both stats.

  • Accuracy minus evasion determines the odds of hitting the enemy. Enemies hard to hit do indeed have a high evasion.

  • How is it possible that all 15 hits of Doom of the Living were criticals?!

  • He maxed out the "Luck" stat

  • 20 consecutive critical hits isn't unusual when you've maxed out the luck. See the "how to max luck and dexterity" video for details on how you can do this too. I've also maxed out strength and vitality (and I have videos showing you how this is done). With luck maxed, which determines the frequency of critical hits, roughly 5 in 6 hits are criticals. 20 consecutive ones has a "(5/6)^20" or about a 1 in 38 chance of occurring. The "deathblow" command has not missed in 3000+ uses.
