and plus i said u gotta no a shitload about YOUR car. try getting into a car u have never driven before and drive a good lap "double clutching" and all
It looks like you had lots of fun. Two tips to improve your lap times: Firstly, go out-in-out on the corner apex. It looks like you go in too tight, therefore you run out of road on the exit.
Secondly, learn how to double declutch. You are doing 3 things at the same time (blip throttle, declutching only once and shifting into 2nd) which is wrong. You should a) declutch, shift neutral, engage clutch b) blip throttle in neutral without declutching c) declutch again and shift into 2nd. In this way you bring both the engine speed AND the gearbox input shaft up to speed for the lower gear. You will get fast smooth shift, instant response in the lower gear and long lasting synchromesh.
Just to avoid any misunderstanding, "declutching" means to disengage the clutch (i.e. when you press your foot DOWN on the clutch pedal - not when you bring your foot up). Good luck and enjoy your Mini - fantastic little cars :-)
you just read this off somewhere didnt you. easier said than done buddy. double clutching AND double clutching WELL is not an easy task. you gotta know a shitload about your car and how it performs, not just how to do it. put up a video of u doing it and ill take it back that u read this from somewhere. and mate "panda" that was a good effort if u havnt had much experience. just work on those lines and ur braking/accelerating. then learn how to double clutch, you do get a shitload more control.
No, it was YOU who "read it off somewhere": Here. You were two years old when i learned this and i'm definately experienced enough to try providing some advice, otherwise i wouldn't have done so. You don't need to know "****loads" about cars, you just need to understand engine/clutch/gearbox functional basics, then practice it. By the way it's double declutching, not double clutching so you obviously don't know "****loads" anyway. Swearing is inappropriate on a public forum. Grow up kid.
ahhh no i learned it being the proud owner of a mini. and havn mates that own old cars without a synchro. and it doesnt matter what u call it dude theyr both correct because u are using the clutch u muppet. its just shortened.
And also improve your gearing timing, you're entering to the curves without power in your wheels. I mean, break/shift before and start the curve with traction.
