@MsAsianCrackers if you just got them, give them time to eat and get used to their environment. Also, on thatpetplaceDOTcom, they have turtle appetite stimulants that you can try. lastly, try feeding them red, meaty foods. turtles are attracted to the color red.

nice turtles, how is your dbt doing? i want a dbt but everything i read makes them sound hard to keep, i wanted to get one to put in with my basking turtles, yours seems healthy, have u had it since it was a hatchling? i got a good set up for now its a 55gal, with 2- 5.0uvb flor lights, 100watt black heat bulb,turtle sub heater, 2-in tank filters, 2- zoomed turtle docks. i dont have any morphs yet, your res morphs are awesome! is a hypo/pastel res the same?

@fai888 you need a heat bulb and a UVB bulb. the uvb bulb gives them the proper amount on calcium kinda like the sun gives to us. and the heat bulb keeps them warm when they r to cold or want some rest in the land area.

@AllJuliasTurtles to tell you the truth, a 100 gallon tank should be fine, because a 100 gallon tank has the same floor dimensions as a 125, but it is 4 inches shorter,..

Also do you have like a protective cover on your heater? Turtles can burn their plastrons if they rest on an unprotected heater. You can buy cases or protectors for your turtle at the pet store
