  • Count in Hebrew!

    >:(

  • You don't even know how much I love you for this! I love to memorize stuff and lists so I'm working to beat you ;) You are the king of counting here on youtube, never saw a video with more than 55 languages! But don't worry, I'm a girl, so I can be the queen, hahahah c:

  • @TheSnowMusicWoman : :D :D :D this is the best reply for this video I like your challenge and I can't wait to see you counting ^ ^

but take care this might be a hard and passioning fight hahahaha xD

  • Well done. The Welsh was pretty good. But you say one as 'een'. :)

  • Your German counting is very good. There are some numbers you say without a hint of an accent. Good job. I just knew four of these...

  • @thelastview : thank you... I'm really glad about what you say because I don't speak German, only few words, I never studied it :p

  • You are crazy, man :)) I am Macedonian. Except 1, the others are good. It's not YEDAN, it's EDEN.

  • @reyarenas7777 : Sorry for the mistake :p

Why do you I'm crazy ?? ;) Macedonian is not very spoken but once you can count in Bulgarian or Serbian it's easy to learn it ;)

  • 6:59 Western Armenian

  • @hartcats : is my pronounciation ok in Armenian?

  • @Nnikura I believe so. I'm learning Armenian, so it was nice to hear you say it first. Except I think 8 is ooTEH not oot. Like Ooteh ineh dasseh (all two syllables). Otherwise, great. And amazing you can do 55 languages!!!

  • @hartcats Well I really like Armenian language. But I count here in Western Armenian not Armenian spoken in Armenia, I'll have to learn it too ;)

  • 05:25 for GREEK :)

  • @MetalOwnsMusic = is my Greek pronunciation good?

  • @Nnikura its very good!!

7 is called * epta * as you said...

but the most usual is * efta * the -f is like frost, fly etc...

  • @MetalOwnsMusic : mmmh you're right "epta" seems like more formal or ancient Greek doesn't it... :p

  • What's your native language buddy!? Mine is brazilian portuguese, but I can also speak pretty well in spanish because it's very similar to portuguese.

  • @flaviothebrazilian : My mother tongue is French. But I live in Spain ;)

  • actually dalmatian is a dead latin language, the last speaker died in 1895. Sad

  • @flaviothebrazilian : exactly, it actually died in 1898 when its last speaker Tuona Udaina died. Italian linguist Bartoli could save many information before this. Indeed the language was thought to be disappeared before.

  • @1760923 : kiitos :) i really like numbers in finnish

i could actually also count in korean now, but at that time i was not too sure... and then in korean you have two ways of counting so... thank you anyway

  • I'm really impressed too :-) Though you forgot 4 in Estonian. :-)

  • @Ketutar : thank you :)

yes actually i just realized i forgot number 4 "viis" if u watch it, after "kümme" i'm a while like thinking "shit... i forgot 4!!!"

  • In Hindi three is teen (tiin) तीन and not seh

  • @avanwell : you're totally right... sorry after counting in iranian language i just got mixed... indeed it's teen ;) thanx

  • that is just freaking awesome! i can only count in about five language.

  • Try Esperanto! unu, du, tri, kvar, kvin, ses, sep, ok, naŭ, dek.

naŭ is pronounced like "now" in English

  • @PfhorShark : thanx i know how to count in Esperanto, but I just forgot some languages... keep it for when someone will beat me ;)

  • 6:23

  • Very entertaining! Thank you! I'm trying to teach my child how to count in the native languages of the people she meets. You should try counting in my Filipino dialect...Ilokano...enjoy the sounds!

  • I speak Hungarian, English,Spanish,French and Serbian :)

  • As a gift from me to you, I give you the Faroese numbers (as they are spelled in Faroese), so you can get your count up to 56 languages! :)

    1 Eitt, 2 Tvey, 3 Trý, 4 Fýra, 5 Fimm, 6 Seks, 7 Sjey, 8 Átta, 9 Níggju, 10 Tíggju. :)

  • Aww, I feel left out... :(

You have all the languages of the Danish Kingdom (Danish and Greenlandic/Kalaallisut) except for Faroese, as well as all the languages of the former, somewhat larger Kingdom of Denmark (Icelandic and Norwegian)... But you are counting in Icelandic so it shouldn't be hard to count in Faroese as well, since the languages are very closely related. :)

  • @Lemonz1989 : I'm sooo sorry about faroese, I'd really like to count in it but i'm not sure about how to pronounce it, i never found any video to learn it... maybe you can teach me, i'll add it for sure in a future extension ;)

  • @Nnikura There are pronounciations of the Faroese number in forvo(dot)com if you are still interested. :)

  • @Lemonz1989 Because you're only arround 60.000 people who speaks it.. I tried to learn it once... But it's imposible to do online..

If you know such a site, I'll be glad to hear..

  • @ToJak91 There are fewer that speak Greenlandic and he counted in Greenlandic. :) But I've been trying to find a video where someone counts in Faroese, but I've failed to find one.

  • @Lemonz1989 : Thank you I'm quite proud to finally remember how to count in Greenlandic after so many years (although I made a small mistake at the end). It helps to remember how to count in Inuktitut too, but after 5 it's different and I just can't remember... My next video maybe if I train a little bit. About Faroese, the problem is to hear the good pronounciation before learning it or I may pronounce some too badly... If there are no video you should make one :)

  • @Nnikura I've been looking around for a good video that shows counting in Faroese, but I haven't found one yet. :( I might actually make one later. :) I'll let you know if I do. :)

Anyways, hope you are having a good summer! :)

  • @ToJak91 forvo(dot)com has many words with Faroese pronounciation, if you are interested. :)

  • @Lemonz1989 : thanxxxx i'll have a look at it ;)

  • @yigitgurel : a long time I learned to count in turkish. I really like the language : )

  • i can speak in 5 languages... english , spanish , french , norwegian, japanese :D

    but your MUCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh better

  • @KatelynnLuvsChuu : thank you... actually I'm not fluent in all those languages ; )

  • @Nnikura yea im not fluent but i know enought to understand haha

  • Yay, much kudos man, you rule!

  • mongolian and kalmyk languages are almost same.they are both mongolic languages.

  • @XOBOPXYH : Yes actually they're very close, but they have something like 5000 Km between where they're both spoek ;) Actually they're little differences due to evolution (1st mongolian or khalkha, then kalmyk) : 1 neg / negn - 2 khoyor / khoïr - 3 guraw / hurvn - 4 döröw / dörvn - 5 taw / tavn - 6 zurgaa / zurhan - 7 doloo / dolan - 8 naïm / neemn - 9 yös / yisn - 10 araw / arvn. Kalmyk keeps final -n is like more conservative and closer to classical mongolian on that point.

  • Very impressiv, but I heard some pronounciation mistakes. Number 10 in Lithuanian, 10 in German, 7 in Swedish and a lot of the Icelandic numbers.(1,4,8,9,10). ;)

How many languages do you speak? Ô alors j'ai oublié que je parle francais :O Combien de langues parlez vous ?

  • @Sproglaerer : I speak fluently 6 languages and have good skills in 6 more. I have great interest for many other languages I unfortunately don't speak... so it's clear I can improve my pronunciation. 10 in German is not "zehn" ? Maybe I don't make a long e... In Swedish and Icelandic I'm not very proud of me indeed... I think I'm wrong with 6 "šeši" not "seši" in Lithuanian but 10 is "dešimt".

  • @Nnikura

Yes the e was too short in the German 10 ;) Zehn

Yes šeši is correct ;) And the "e" in Lithuanian 10 is pronounced like "A" in American English.

But Icelandic is very hard :D I took a Icelandic class in 6 months, they have some funny sounds :D
