Well that is quite a different way of modeling; What would you call that style? Good results for a 10min video, though I would agree she has thunder hips & legs.

Nice.. enjoyed it. At about 9:30, you used a sphere and merge it in to the model. Can explain a bit more on that process?

i think it's just a simple sphere under the mesh and you use the zproject brush to get a good rounded shape.
