For almost ten years I had a job where I used to have about a 120 mi round trip every day. During the winter months I remember having to drive in conditions you described. That's what made me chuckle when you brought it up. I always had it fixed in my mind "Whether this takes 1 hour or 4 hours I'm going to make it home tonight." and I would see the guys you described barreling up behind me flashing their lights to show their perturbations then down the road I would see them in the ditch.
Today I noticed a new video from a tuber named the Fifthwatcher. Me and him are a lot alike in the fact that we are both ostracized for our non traditional beliefs. The reason I bring this up is not to try and defend the position of my belief, or to imply that persons who share your convictions should be more tolerant of persons like us. I mention it only because of a comment he made about christians on Y/T who said over and over to him that he would be an atheist in five years, cont...
... well he was happy to report that the five years was up and he was still a christian and will always be. I believe he will also. Why do I bring this up? Because after I viewed and responded to his video I was led back to one of my all time favorite passages John 21: 20-25 It seemed to be clear to me today why the gospels were positioned the way they were. The last gospel, the last account of the resurrection the reunification of Peter and still he was fixated on the things of man, cont...
... asking in regards to John, then Jesus turns to him and said " If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me." That's the buffer, you have your life in Christ, I have mine, the fifthwatcher has his. Only our actions, our willful stumbling's will condemn or exalt us and always all of us under the benevolence of grace. I will accept fully your total rejection of this. You have no other option. But at least I have the option of respecting the work in Christ you do.
