  • R.I.P Steve Jobs :(

  • aah, I love the old keynotes for their un-planned "accidents" :-)

happens far too less in the newer keynotes, I have to say...

  • 2:03 What the heck does 'Adaptive Latent Semantic Analysis' mean?

  • OMG... steve got thin now..

  • EPIC FAIL!

  • It just works.

  • "And that's why we have backup systems." People scream and cheer with excitement. I think it's funny to watch Steve Jobs worshipers.

  • @Wellsongs They laughed because the same week Microsoft had a presentation where the presentation's computer crashed and they didn't have a back up and were stalled for a little while.

  • @Wellsongs They laughed because the same week Microsoft had a presentation where the presentation's computer crashed and they didn't have a back up and were stalled for a little while.

  • you forgot one

  • I would have launched the f''king thing back at him if he did that to me.

  • I feel happy owning ►windows◄ now!

  • Uh, well I don't know a flight number, but trust me, it works... XD

  • i luv the way Steve Jobs and Jony Ive Speaks !!!!!

  • you know hella people got they ass kicked, and fired

  • AWESOME!!!!!

  • I would love to have been a fly on the wall backstage after these presentations - heads would be rolling by ninja Steve!!

  • when steve jobs fails hes way funnier than microsoft.

  • " I don't know, but it works !"

    LULZ xD

  • Drug czar!

  • lol comon ppl steve is human too..

  • @Xsoul2007 atlaste we had a proof LOL

  • Whoa, i never seen Steve that pist before on the camera, what conference was that ?

  • I think the Asian guy say's it in a hole

  • omg turn on closed captions its freakin halarious!

  • what is this? i don't know, but it works.

    :D

  • DirectX owns OpenGL lol

  • I forgot what the old website looked like.. you can see it at the very beginning.. lol wow.. back in the iDay.

  • love the music xD

  • i may not agree with macs all the way, but jobs is cool

  • nobodys perfect...

  • open gl failed lol

  • @ApplausableGuy Not really. Apple implementation of OpenGL or Quake3 failed. From the looks of it... Quake failed... I never saw Q3 lock like that.

  • @mytube232 bullshit ! OpenGL failed. Q3 = Awsome!

  • @btnerd haha I agree Q3 is awesome. But as far as I remember, Q3 was never made for OS X, so I guessed it's just a bad port or something like that. And along the line I tried to avoid trolling Mac Fanboiz how Q3 never fucked up on Linux or Windows machine... but, there ya go... I said it:)

  • My favorite phrase: its pretty awsome when it works.... LOL

  • 2:12 "what is this thing? I don't know... but it works"

that's the key of Steve Jobs and Apple's success. Steve Jobs is not a technician, he's a consumer and he wants to be a consumer of his own products.

  • 0:22 ehhm and it´s ehmm you know ehhmm

    ähh

    xD

  • haha chinese dude is EPIC

  • who is at 0:48

  • This is why I always book Steve for a full-day of Zen meditation after his keynotes. Usually though, he feels better after he fires a couple of people. --Amy Aguilar, Special Asst. to Steve Jobs.

  • Lol Quake 3?

I hope that's an old video because that game doesn't exactly have the best graphics out there.

  • oh yeah. that was a LONG time ago.

  • I love the way he handles things, when they go wrong xD

  • Idk a flight number but trust me it works

    nice

  • Phil didn't take it as well as Steve did.

  • Phil must be really embarrassed...

  • openGL is not rubbish. I would call DirectX 11, no generally DirectX is damn rubbish and with it ATI-graficscards -.-

...yeah, and it's good when it works! xD

  • DirectX is actually at the frontier of gaming graphics, and has been ever since the first DirectX cards way back before it was even an open hardware standard.

You should question before you dismiss. As for OpenGL - it's great too; it's just not as convenient, nor is it as easy for a manufacturer to provide generic support for.

Now what is apple doing for gaming? 1080p missing? Check! Unsupported Drivers? Check! No gaming platform? Check!

I'd like to thank everyone who tried :)

  • openGL is just to new its not there yet........ it took directX years to get to were it is now

  • Actually OpenGL is older than directX.

(OpenGL => Roots in SGI, in early 90's).

(DirectX => first release with windows 95)

You should check the facts before making assumptions about imagined "histories" of software that are suggested to front your position that OpenGL is somehow superior to DirectX.

Like, don't get me wrong, I like programming in OpenGL too - just because it's an open stanard; but DirectX has MILES on OpenGL with progress, corporate ties, development ease, and capabilities.

  • the first one is Internet Explorer :V

  • ...called Adaptive Latent Semantic Analysis. What is this? I don't know, but it works...

  • "Its pretty awesome when it works" lol

  • Steve Jobs seems angry when he threw that camera.

  • Cool! So we got this... I don't Know what it is, but it works!

    XD Steve Jobs for President!

  • "Its pretty awesome.....when it works." lmao. That's Murphy's Law for ya.

  • these is funny

  • which 1 was the sony 1 ? i wanna watch that ...

  • You stole this.

  • no computer is perfect IMO

  • damn my bad bro, I wanted to give a thumbs up, but I gave a thumbs down on accident :-(

  • This is just PAINFUL to watch. I own a mac and many PCs. However, this what you get when people have the perception that MAC is flawless and perfect. Never think ANYTHING is FLAWLESS.

  • @defendingthekingdom steve jobs IS flawless its just your flawed ears and eyes that are lying to you about it while watching this....

  • @defendingthekingdom it's amazing how easy he takes it, and he is awesome and MAc is the best computer EVER!

  • It's loading... OR NOT!

  • this makes me wanna buy a mac

  • I enjoyed the video. Compared to "bloopers" (major embarrasements) on MS these are so minor issues that makes me laugh.

  • Show's how 'amazing' macs really are, huh?

  • Shows how amazing you are noticing that a LOT of these are on OS 9. Dude. These don't even have anything from Leopard.

  • it's pretty awesome WHEN it works... that was so funny

the weird think is i never saw so many bloopers from microsoft and we all know how "stable" windows can be...

  • you didn't?? I guess you didn't looked enough. Blue screen of death in presentations, does it ring a bell?

  • are you referring to the win98 presentation? yeah.. that was one time... big deal...

  • What is "Massive Branch Prediction Logic", anyway?

  • Love the vid. When they aren't taken too seriously, they're great for a chuckle :)

  • That just explains everything about Mac, steve even said it himself.. " It's pretty awesome.. when it works!"

  • And it works most of the time. That's the good thing. He's not denying that they have some trouble at times. Don't you just love that?

  • just trust me it works lol

  • lol funny

  • they are still people, they also make faults ...

  • "It just works"

    Ye.. i can see that...

  • lol, thats why we have backup systems.

  • yeah - windows :P

  • idk but it works

  • No operating system is perfect, Maybe the perfect one is the Intergalactic Central Command System...LMAO!

    But criticism is good.

  • "I got a little bug here..."

  • I love it. "I don't know what it does, predicts branches, I don't know."....Steve is hilarious

  • ok

    at the start he use

    INTERNET EXPLORER?

    pls tell me why!

  • Thats because Microsoft bought a few apple shares back in 1997, they made an agreement to ship Internet Explorer for mac for the next 5 years until 2003.

  • for a short while there were actually a native IE for linux too. It was horribly buggy and vanished pretty fast. (Not a jab at MS)

  • 0:51 what is that!?

  • And this is what makes us all human :-)

  • None of these are as bad as Bill's BSOD 1998 blunder.

  • The BSOD blunder was staged. Have you ever seen a BSOD slide into the screen.

  • Riiighhht! .. You expect me to believe that Bill Gates, who is a incredibly smart business man, would intentionally allow for the presentation of his new OS (at the time) to be sabotaged in front of hundreds of people and possibly forgo millions of dollars and risk a bad reputation?

You expect me to believe that? Get real dude.

  • I'm guessing your talking about the demo of win98? Don't know if it was staged. However modern monitors simply go blank while they get themselves synced up with the signal. Old monitors (or in that case a projector) would display what was happening all the time which meant on a resolution change like that, you'd see it much quicker, but it would shake or slide into view like that. (Normally vertically, but some brands did like to play with it)

    hth

  • Yes, I have seen the BSOD slide in. It always slid in on my old CRT monitor like that.

The sliding occurs when a CRT, or in this case a CRT projector, changes resolutions. It takes a moment for the magnetic deflectors to be tuned to the new resolution. Later CRTs would blank the screen for a second during a resolution change to hide this, and of course it is not a problem for LCD displays.

  • i like pc better, but i am ok with mac.

But really, there is'nt a problem with mac, when you watch stuf here. its just flaws that happens sometime.

No machine is perfect, not even a windows 7.

  • very true

  • I agreed. I think both Macheads and Windowians should remember, at the end of the day they are both computers and problems will happen.

  • Ok I am a Mac Head but......... Mr Jobs...is the King of presentation! and I think even PC people would have to agree!

  • i know!! he sounds normal, like he understands us. for example,, " what is this ?? ---->Nv123.dfmDF i dont know but" :-D

  • Very true

  • Well what is this? I donno, but it works. This is a definite fav. XD this is so funny. But see how rare it is for Mac bugs sometimes? No offense, but this is how many you can have on windows in a day.

  • this s can all happen on one day of Mac osx also.

  • How many times has that ever happened. I mean I've had my iMac for a year and nothing of the sort.

  • sometimes, I never had any of this problems on my Pc, and never in one day. the worst thing that happen was windows 7 beta would not start because I overclocked a 1.86GHZ chip to 3.4GHZ. most windows problems are user related.

  • these are all PPC macs, if you had one you would know. I am guessing you have an intel mac.

  • And the same has happened with the PowerPC macs. Rare errors. Never for years at my old schools.

  • I have this problems happen a couple of times, I never said every day. seriously how can windows be bad, I have the walmart special Pc, and it does not get errors.

  • when I red the title I thought they would show all there products

  • Red the title? How do you red a title? Got a pro tip for me?

  • damn why so many windows haters?? let Windows alone!!!!! hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • LOL you're talking bullshit. Of course a mac DOES crash now and then. You're right Macs crash very often because of bad RAM, but even Mac OS X crashs.

And now don't rip me to shreds I adore Apple and I'm using an iMac, but you simply cannot say Macs wouldn't crash.

    Greets

  • No, they really don't. Your just jealous cause you don't have a mac. If you don't have enough RAM, duuhhhhh, same with a PC.

  • The cause is irrelevant; It's still a crash.

  • its not really a crash a program or 2 freezes and thats it you never need to restart

  • A simple google image search of "mac crash" or "os x kernel panic" disputes that greatly.

  • Good Lord IT WAS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT!

  • Read the entire comment thread, shit for brains. We're talking about crashes in general, not some flaw specific to all Apple software or something.

  • the best quotes ever:

"find flight, idon't know flight numbers, but trust me it works"

"Massive branch prediction logic, wich, I don't know what it does. Predicts Branches It's a good thing."

"adaptive latent semantic analysis, what is this? I don't know, but it works."

"Its pretty awesome when it works"

  • I love jobs!

  • Great clip!

  • now, who said mac is perfect...

  • no one... its actually far more then perfect. right, is just not only perfect.

  • who said macs are perfect? half the nutters who buy into thinking their into some elitist group and like to gloat. Truth is they're just buying a computer, like everyone else.

  • I bought an iphone... freezes on my all the time. haha

  • Great video. Too bad Apple fans will deny that all of this ever happened.

  • So true if microsoft media center remote does not work, macsheep will be all over it, but seeing all this bloopers Iall they say "it just works". Microsoft has much more work to do then mac programmers,, because of the design of the operating system. taking bsd and tweaking it and added a sticker on it is a feat of technology.

  • I'd be offended, if I was an idiot

  • I'm a fan boy and nothing is perfect no one is perfect and no computer is perfect EVERYTHING HAS IT'S FLAWS...

  • he he... that Quake 3 bug was very epic xD

    - i am a apple fan! -

  • When Jobs is gone, you'll realise that he was just a good commercial for Apple, and Apple without Jobs will be really bad.

The New Era has arrived, Gates and Jobs did both very well. Soon It's up to the new CEO's to contain the good work.

  • I'm pretty sure the new guys will just screw things up. :<

  • WE STILL LOVE YOU STEVE!!!!!!!

  • It's a little cute video tho.

  • (1 of 2) Quite a few of these are JOKES, not bloopers.

Some of the ones I can spot:

0:30 - The web admins at Apple leaked the new mac specs by accidentally adding the product to the site too early. He just made a mention of that. No bloopers.

0:47 - That stuttering asian guy has nothing to do with Jobs bloopers.

1:55 - Jobs makes a joke about an advanced new feature. He plans his keynotes a month in advance and thoroughly rehearses them, of course he knows what it is.

  • (2 of 2) 2:09 - He jokingly calls the Windows NT authentication manager "whatever that is".

2:13 - Another joke about new technology.

2:38 - The camera doesn't POWER ON, meaning that the camera is faulty, not related to OSX.

3:10 - He promises 3GHz because IBM promised him 3GHz, when they didn't come through it eventually lead to Apple switching to Intel.

3:24 - So ID Software has bugs in their pre-release version of Quake for OSX. And that's Apple/Jobs fault how?

    The bloopers: Funny!

  • *High five*

    Way to overreact!

  • Oh for the love of... STOP CURSING EACH OTHER OUT OVER THE INTERNET ABOUT WHICH COMPUTER COMPANY IS BEST!!!

All computers suck, and will break down just to piss you off.

    Live with it.

    Apple has it's problems.

    So does Microsoft.

Oh well. Pick something and live with it!

  • Ahh but which has more bugs.... *coughs* windows *coughs*

  • Jobs: Apple bugs are sooo fun...teehee..MS bugs ruin the WORLD......buy my product.

  • whats the joke on 1:26? If steve has made this keynote, hew should know that he included this picture so why is he so surprised? ^^

  • This video just shows that a mac is totally the same as any other computer. They use precisely the same parts and the only difference is a shiny logo and double the price.

  • I use vista now.. and its working really nice... no problem at all...

buy a good hardware then everything will work good for u ...

  • I have Vista and i hate it i have a top of the line computer and vista still sucks

  • buy a apple if you hate vista ! ,, I dont undrestand why you people, u dont like it and you still use it .

  • coz its cheaper. i rather get the stupid microsoft vista and eat at subway than spending the extra cash for a mac.

  • look that the thing ..

its cheaper .... buy a pc witch cost the same as an apple, u will see that it will work much better then apple ...

  • I think we have to understand that if MS Windows crashes is because it is made to work on every kind off PC with any kind off hardware, lots of 3rd party softwares and drivers, and this is very hard to solve.

Now if we have a Mac OS crash I tink this is a major fault from the programmers because they have build the software for one specific hardware configuration.

Apart from that I think they are very good companies who have made very mutch to our tech and software needs.

  • it just shows that Apple is not perfect, to the people who do think its perfect.

  • Totally agree with u

  • Yeah.... you just keep on drinking the cyanide-laced Microsoft-provided Kool-Aid, my boy.

  • Better than the Jobs-semen laced juice coming from Apple.

  • this video show that Apple's computers are the same as PCs.

  • ROTFLMAO. Gaming on a Mac....you Apple fanboys make me laugh.

  • I like that he is honest that he doesn't know technical bs. He is more of an everyday person who visualizes way to make computers better.

  • Doesnt know technical stuff?

Steve Jobs programmed the entire game Breakout when he joined atari in such a way that they couldnt ever reproduce it, making him have to actually make his code BIGGER.

Tell me again Steve Jobs doesnt know techincal stuff?

  • A.) He never acts like he knows any technical things.

B.) And you know that how...?

  • Im such a nerd XD.

I found out about Steve Jobs and the Breakout game thing from the Apple section in the Ultimate History of Video Games.

  • love Steve

  • LMAO!!!!!!

  • well, that's why we have backup systems here xD

  • Steve Jobs is nothing more than a charming salesman that doesn't really know dick about computers. At least this shows the real apple. I'll never forget the time I was showing a client (who was using a MAC) a few examples of various websites. The piece of shit locked up, had to shut it off, turned it on, locked up again on the desktop. After 2nd restart it was working again.... if you call what a Mac does "Working".

  • he knows more than you

O.K so you've expernced 1 problem with a mac and you call em shit.

now for every mac that fucks up their will be 1500 fuckin pc that fuck up

u know nothing your a sales man

    get a real job noob
