Is there a single player mode that gives u like unlimited troops and money and stuff?

@ndgh209 Well you can go to singleplayer custom battle and give yourself infinite money but you can only have 20 units total. On large battle this could mean like 3000 soldiers total from both sides. But u cant have unlimited troops.

@jonasnee well depends on how much people are playing. I think on the largest unit size the pikes are like 200+ soldiers in a single unit so yea it does get pretty high in numbers, i usually play on normal or large though to keep the game running smooth, on largest it gets a bit choppy and i have a laptop that can max just about any game (besides crysis)

@scorpion9909 yeah i dont like playing on huge unless i play a campaign. and my computer can easyly handel shogun 2 on all ultra. but the strang thing about rome is that it dosent make a diffrence wehter you play whit my computer or my laptop (its relly craby). beside at huge the biggest unit is the roman, ligionary 1st cohort. whit 242 soldiers in (giving you an total max on 4800+ per player). but its not very realistic some one would do that ;).

They are not the same unit card, but they are both the same or lets say similar unit, for example, Hastati/Principes/Legionary Cohort (s) etc. This is what he was talking about, you ignored this too quickly.

At the beginning you also said he would flip out because of 12 phalanx units, therefore you agree, although in a small way that it is a loophole to the rule

For example in that game id bring 6 Urban cohorts, 6 Praetorian Cohort, 6 Legionary cohorts, and 2 first cohorts.

@MagicMr007 generally in the game testudo is useless. romans legionaries already are well protected by their shields. Plus, the testudo makes your soldiers very vulnerable to a cavalry charge or infantry attack. In this case since it's a bridge battle it's a bit more effective for wasting arrows, but the Prince could've just moved his men back. Your english is excellent by the way ^.^

Testudo is useful in siege battles because you don't lose as many soldiers until they get to the walls.
