  • wtf

  • Super speed eh? It must suck at 0:08 where it either stops or accelerates to hypertension speed..

  • okay,i was listing to mrs.right and then watched a clown singing,then animals mating,now here...WHAT THE HELL?!!?

  • in grey's anatomy they usually just punch it and everything works out fine!

  • @Niceboy3377 it's not cool. I will bet you if you were a medic and saw that for the first time in a monitor you will shit your pants. I damn near pissed mine when I was a rookie. :-D anyways you should join EMS. Heck if you live in a small town your never too young to volunteer fire your fire department

  • what if someone sneezed on it? or punched it

  • Intense!

  • oh shit....wtf..

  • uh oh!! troubles a brewin!!

  • AT 0:02 ITS GONNA BLOW!!!

  • I smell a lawsuit........

  • V FIB IS SCARY AND HAS A UGLY FACE!

  • cardio megaly in just seconds......

  • if the patient is in vfib, how come the doc wasnt doing anything for five minutes?

  • @e521soediv maybe the patient was on a heart lung machine, considering he is having open heart surgery

  • wow dat was craze

  • thats not five minutes

  • why im watching this anyway...

  • watching this just makes me sad for some reason...

  • @Dlakoslav cool

  • @Dlakoslav im gonna be a fireman when im older :D

  • @Dlakoslav -.-

  • i dont think some people realise this is vfib, but 5 mins worth of video sped to 10 seconds...

  • I'm lucky when i had my heart attack i was in the ER waiting room. They said this is what caused my heart attack. I was in the right place at the right time or I probably wouldn't be here now. I know what vfib is but its neat to see what it does.

  • driftaxNZ the tricupid and mitril valves stay open and the arortic and pullmonary valves dont open enlarging the heart

  • why is it wiggling? O_O

  • @Niceboy3377 hmmm, might it be..because it is in V-Fib? Do people not even read titles anymore?!

  • Nice Video and Explanations....thank you people. Just wish people were more friendly to each other when commenting. Gosh!

  • did u use real person :o

  • OH DAMN!

  • Can I ask an honest question? What causes the Heart to grow in size like that when in VF? Is it cellular inflammation caused by hypoxia or something else? could someone please give me an actual answer rather than just attack my ignorance.

  • @DriftaxNZ because it's fibrillating it's not pumping blood out, while blood keeps flowing in --> it swells like a waterballoon

  • @DriftaxNZ

The heart grows in size because the lack of synchronization. Pressure built up because the amount of preload/afterload changed. The electrical activity of the heart was messed up, so the mechanical aspect of the heart failed...hence the ventricular hypertrophy. Hence why VFIB, if untreated via ACLS protocal, leads to death. By the way, pardon the idiots out here. You're a smart dude for asking the questions.

  • @zackkumor

i dont see any fat around this persons heart, wonder why its going into vfib in the first place doesnt make sense

  • @zackkumor so what happens if it keeps getting bigger like that.... does it erupt :0 ?!

  • @zackkumor "Grow in size?" I thought that was about to burst!

  • @zackkumor everything looks correct but the ventricular hypertrophy. Could the pt's cells really multiply within 5min? Would it be more accurate to call it a dilated cardiomyopathy, even though it's acute?

  • @jdubdc Yeah. The heart grew in size, but it was not the result of ventricular hypertrophy. That process takes time, you wouldn't see it in 10 minutes.

  • @zackkumor I know your reply is old but is this a video of a pigs heart or what?

  • yes it´s a clinical death.....

  • That's not v-fib, it's nsr in fast forward.

  • @samuel8955 ye that's why the left v swells up... :-/

  • @samuel8955 Its not NSR. It is fastforward, but the description in the bottom right hand of the screen tells you that. You can tell its Vfib b/c of the lack of torsional contraction.

  • Bull it is not fatal with a pacemaker it is a problem easy to solve if caught in time

  • @zenfoodist If you are saying one can simply pace vfib, you are wrong. I'm not sure what you're saying exactly but it cannot be paced... well it can, it just wont generate a pulse. We could pace it all day long i suppose

  • you're just gonna stand there and videotape? Help the patient out!! He or she is dying!

  • May this patient Rest in Peace. Ventricular Fibrillation is fatal.

  • @GDelva2003 No. A shock can return the heart into normal sinus rhythm; You know, CLEAR! *BUZZZ*

  • And the grinch's heart grew 2 sizes that day

  • @Necrosised ....and never beat effectively ever again. medicine makes you cynical huh...

  • now thats wat i call SVT :)

  • @eamanevers1 That's not SVT.

  • @leviathan85 no shit sherlock

  • @eamanevers1 Saying no shit sherlock doesn't negate the stupid thing you said before. Try learning to be humble in the future and admit your mistakes.

  • @leviathan85 artard

  • @leviathan85 your a moron, just cus u think your super smart saying its not SVT, he obviously knows that but you thought you'd be amazing correcting people.

    stop trolling

  • @leviathan85 watch out everyone its the spelling police!!!

    fag

  • @hanszwartman now it's the grammar police coming after you!

  • @leviathan85 ashole

  • Ventricular fibrillation is the heart's way of trying to pump more blood in the body in the heart's dieing moments and trying to get more blood around

it goes faster and may lose rhythm and leading to death and that's how one has heart attack

if a person has a defibrillator used on their heart during V.F. the electrical shock stuns the heart into returning to normal beating.

  • wow

  • His heart grew.

  • it's a speed up video or it's the very very very very very very crazy heart of a guy

  • lol I think it's sped up otherwise that is one crazy ass heart. poor guy. he'd be dead.
