I'm not an expert on Turkic expert. However, I know that many Turkic peoples have political alliances and strong economic ties with Russia, not with Turkey. My girlfriend is a Chuvash, she would be very surprised if somebody said her she is the same as Turks of Istanbul. They are savages to her, strangers.

However, Lenin never identified himself as a Turk, even he had 1/4 Turkic blood. 350 million? Of course, there were some influences on their blood in the course of history, but there was also a big Slavic influence on the blood of Tatars, Bashkirs and other minorities. So I think the percentage of Slavs is around 85%. Moreover, I think the self-identification is even more important.

I don't listen to american or europian history teachings. I know it's a shameless propaganda. Also i don't think Arabs or Muslims are bad. But I am half Armenian half Russian.
