We haven't seen a sprinter like her in Australia; she is an unprecedented freak. I'm not sure the comparisons with Frankel are helpful - they are very different horses, racing in different distance ranges. It's like trying to compare the respective entertainment merits of The Wiggles with The Phantom of the Opera! Both are extremely successful in their genre.

Black Caviar is the top sprinter in the world but that's not Frankel's thing despite the fact he had a bunch of Group 1 horse gasping for air after only 3 furlongs in the Newmarket 2000 Guineas. BC was rated number 1 in the world by Timeform before Frankel came along now he is rated 7lbs superior to her. Doesn't take a genius to watch both run and see that Frankel is really exceptional and in a different class.May well be the best since Sea Bird II. Would you say BC is the best since Phar Lap?

When Frankel wins 13 on end, creates weight records and smashes races records at Group1 under handicap conditions, then he can be mentioned in the same manner. Starspanglebanner doesn't even rate in comparision. Having said that, I would like to see her race Rocketman both here in Australia and again overseas. Add Hay List and we would get a good idea how he would rate

To prove Black caviar is the best speed horse, she must race with Rocket and Jet plane, i dnt think caviar can win more then 2 length. And if black caviar win by a head or 1/2length, just prove she is one of the best spinter only, but not the best.
