  • "Come on, hit the brakes. Hit the brakes. Hit the brakes."

  • watch?v=c-Lmfcma0ZI&feature=related this was a real emergency

  • @druindude15 ...true... i just want to stand out...Ha ha...!

  • @druindude15 ...Ha ha... thanks... and i apologise for your spelling... the UK spelling is without the z!

  • @druindude15 ...you're so right... i appologise!

  • the wheel is down they couldn't turn the wheel. get ur facts right...

  • It's annoying how people rate vids down for having a slightly misleading title.

  • Only in LA

  • Stupid cheering assholes, this was an emergency landing, not an air show you fuck-nuggets!

  • Are all Americans complete fucking IDIOTS! What's with all the Whooping, cheering, screaming and clapping? Completely over the top!

  • @4crevis because the plane landed safely and none died you fuck tard.

  • @fuckrareware Oh yes, definately American, never been called a fuck tard before, Hilarious!

  • @4crevis

    LOL. W.T.F.

  • LIKE if you watched this crash on Vacations attack on travel Channel

  • it was just a firework show....ahaha

  • COOL

  • Jdblink18t2 your beyond a fag. Just sayin...

  • Why were you so happy the plane still could have exploded

  • Oh this is the JetBlue flight.

  • ohhh oooooo oooooooooooohhhh SHUT THE FUCK UP

  • WHY ARE THE CLAPPING!

  • no any americans should tell to anyone that "immigrant"...all of them are except indians.......

  • "come on baby hit the brakes"...duh?! Do you expect him to hit the gas instead?

  • @Cappadoccia04 Yeah that guy is retarded for many reasons just by saying that line.

  • JetBlue!

  • You chose to take the discussion to a less fortunate level by stating how your Canadian standards etc, etc,.. That's enough for this ridiculous topic, good luck with your career. Hope you accomplish even half of what I've done in mine.

  • Actually my stats are impressive and you'll be very fortunate if you ever come remotely close to achieving them. As for whether or not you weren't discussing engines, my point was driven by two of your comments: 1) "just fyi engines don't stall, wings do". 2) "the term 'stall' in the context of airplanes (and more drivel)" ..

    You chose to take

  • Sexybanana... the landing was not 'rough', it was pretty normal. The problem was NOT that the nose gear would not extend, the aircraft did NOT land on the nose. The nose gear was turned sideways and would not center for the landing - that's all. Ah yes, facts, wouldn't it be something if people actually cared to find them before stating something.

  • there a problem with the wheel that problem is that the wheel turn sideways before landing that's why this happeneds it's rare to see it...

  • I like the guys that says "hit the breaks" like the captain was not going to break.

  • Have to agree about the cheering, Man we are a stupid culture.

  • @baconlatte your sooo right man, we humans always cheer when we're in a crowd! XD

  • @baconlatte Speak for yourself, I don't clap at near disasters as if they were sporting events.

  • i really want to punch that big shot talking in the backround.....when making a crsh landing the nose woulnt be point straight up 2 reasons pilot can see shit and the engine would stall and crash.

  • just fyi aircraft engines dont stall, the aircrafts wings do....

  • by wings you mean the turbines ??

  • the term "stall" in the context of airplanes not include the engines its all to do with lift and speed, sarcastically: its not like the pilots forget to shift so they stall? get my point ?

  • not entirely true - we use the term 'stall' in the case of turbine engines with respect to failure of airflow over the compressor blades; i.e. compressor stall. However, when an aircraft stalls, you are correct, we refer to the aerodynamic stall - breakup of airflow over the wings. I'm a 747 captain if you need the reference.

  • in canada (which has the highest aviation standards in the world) when referring to stall in the context of an aircraft its generally when the wings/ aircraft lose lift (im not sure what you mean about air breaking up over the wings =s) but im sure that for the sake of argument you are right that a compressor stall is yet still logical.

  • I'm sure the standards in Canada are fine. I've got licenses from several countries including Holland so I don't hold a candle to anyone. You don't understand stall because it's probably not one your duties as a flight attendant. That's ok - in my 42 years of flying and 26,000 + hours, many as an instructor check airman, I've met many novices who don't really catch the concepts. The facts are what they are - we very commonly use the term stall for compressor airflow breakdown. By the way,

  • I understand your concern all you had to do was explain your thought process. and by the way please do not insult my intelligence with your unimpressive stats, because im also a pilot present occupation is flight attendant, and my father is a pilot with less years more hours experience. and maybe things are different in europe but we are to the point in north america and i wasnt talking about the engines in the first place, so this public conversation has gone on long enough.

  • With respect to aerodynamic stall, the air does not break up over the wings, the AIRFLOW breaks down, i..e. goes from a laminar, smoothly flowing state to a random turbulent state. The result being that lift is lost. My whole point regarding your comment is that with respect to turbine engines, they most certainly DO stall, however, when we speak of an aircraft stalling, the reference IS to the wings stalling. Turbine stall is the more common event but not neccessarily the more deadly.

  • Well, it's called compressor stall when the engines stalls.

  • yes, but then the conclusion after would be engine fail. not engine stall. but ive exhausted my point enough here, i cant make people understand.

  • That was not a crash landing, That was skill

  • Sucks. I was kinda expecting a giant fireball and a little girl's head flying into the camera XD

    JOKE!!

  • crash? what crashed!??

  • um... how does that look like crash for you uploader?????? you could've name the title as landing gear failure

  • @cowjdtns clearly you don't live in LA....in LA, a landing gear failure to us is a plane crash, we get excited about just anything!

  • @superchaoo7 clearly you are not in aviation industry... i'm in an aviation industry, and we don't call that a "crash" landing... no offence to LA ppl... i'm just sayin..

  • @superchaoo7 well what i meant was we los angeles people get exited about news and exaggerate them, and i'm not in the aviation industry and i still know what crash is but that's not what i'm talking about.

  • Is that the Jetblue crash in LAX

  • more like an emergency landing. yea thats the one.

  • I really should' watch this, If i'm going away tomorrow, hmph!! Now i'm scared but i hope it's safe!

  • que pelotudos, jeje

  • The fact that people have to run out and watch this is absolety retarded

  • and the fact that they cheer at the end like it is some sort of sporting event, totally retarded.

  • like you wouldnt watch

  • whats more retarded is the video poster's comment: "the plane crash or whatever at lax"... what a pathetic description.

  • It's an incident, not a crash! These are the same people that run out in their front yards (usually with no shirt or shoes) when they see on T.V. that a police chase is going to pass their street.

  • Nothing like bringing the family to a plane crash! My god, people are sick.

  • screem*

  • erm why did the woman have to screen like a bitch?

  • lol :)

  • wow that was a little uncalled for. she was probably screaming because she was happy the plane landed safely. perhaps she had family on that plane?

  • wtf is this shit.... anybody can do that

  • so OTT he is doing what he is paid to do FFS!!!

  • You gotta love americans for their enthusiasm!

  • wow the people in this video are a little too excited... jeez..

  • lol, everyone clapping and screaming...that is one good pilot!

  • ROFL

    everyone woooo ahhh

    clapping and etc. XD

  • dude everyone is like clapping and shouting haha nice feeling

  • ppl dont understand, this is normal and routine... planes are designed to land with no gear and no engines.

  • dumbass...

  • Why? are you serious it's true

  • so i guess on everyflight they land with no gear and no engines? is that wat ur saying

  • yeah that's what I'm saying, all 5000 flights lands like that daily..., I said EVERY FLIGHT IS DESIGNED TO LAND LIKE THAT, not lands like that

  • i remember this, it was on cnn. jetblue had to make a landing with the front wheel screwed up.

  • I remembered that. It was on September 21, 2005. This was B6292 en route from BUR to JFK. All 146 survived without any injuries. But the pilot was wise enough to make this decision.

  • "the plane crash or whatever at lax". BRILLIANT commentary.

  • It looked WAY better on tv.

  • mental

  • I remember the "fire tire" flight.... Jet blue, it was on the news, cuz i am in LA

  • fuck u imigrant

  • i cant fucking stand people that say all americans have roots in europe. what about the blacks and asians in america? are they from europe? NO SHITDICK

and if we wanna get fuckin technical everyone has roots from africa. even your faggot ass living in some shitty former soviet block country.

but let's not get technical. how about we use some sense and just say that if your grandparents were born in the same country you live in, you don't need to worry about calling people immigrants.

    get aids

  • Go suck a sausage, Hitler.

  • the scream wasnt nessarey?????

  • Amazing pilot!!! I remember watching that live on Fox News!

  • huge crowd

  • that was jetblue airays.

  • I see this on live at BBC-great job.

  • Is this your video, or did you just take is from an other user?

  • so wheres the "crash" part come into play?

  • I remember this! All over the news, they just showed the plane circling for like 45 minutes and then da landing...hooray!

  • how comes every youtube comment discussion becomes about racism? ARGH

  • no friggin clue.

  • because it felt like it

  • i know!!! but i think its a reflection of society today... people are immigrating to different parts of the world and rather than embrace it, the ignorant choose to act in fear and turn it into anger

  • my comment was to jazzo6

  • it was emergency landing i guess

  • I agree that a high percentage of Americans may not always be that bright, but I happen to think that people from the UK just can't ever stand being ignored. Always throwing in a negative comment about America. If you live in the UK, what the hell does it matter?

  • yeah

  • WTF! Dumb ass yanks, its not a fire works display! peoples lives were at risk! oooo rrrrr wow!

  • People from the UK always have to comment about these "Yanks." You know, noone else ever acts like they're so damn perfect than you guys sometimes. Tanks this and tanks that, what's with all the hate?

  • looks like YOU are the stupid perfect that have to comment ;)

  • ? He commented, you commented, why shouldn't I?

  • just get lost, moron :)

  • That's right. Not much of a reasonable answer and you must realize I had a point and wasn't just blabbering on about nothing.

  • a point ?

    LOL :)

  • CHEESY BREAD. (yup...exactly)

  • lol

  • that sounds good right now! :)

  • no way, lol

  • aww cute smile face haha

  • you have a right to comment and you can say whatever you want but dont forget we are all people and have feelings, dont be a lame youtube hater that talks mean stuff. Look for the possitive in stuff...the people on the plane survived when they were deston to crash.

  • True...

  • haha

  • *Yanks this and yanks that* - ... o_O I guess I can't spell...

  • ooooook? lol dont worry im dislexic and cant spell big words lol

  • I fixed my own typing from my first comment, in which I was commenting someone from the UK who was totally discriminating against ppl from the US, always calling them yanks and stuff. It's up there.

  • stop taking the goverments discisions out on the people. we just decide whos president we cant tell him what to do. theres to many of us, we are just trying to be happy and get along in the best manner possible we are doing what we think is right I believe everything happens for a reason. God gives us many pathways in life and we pick the way to go, we ditermin our futures...and we are not yanks we are people, Americans, thats like calling someone by their race in an insulting way. So stop.

  • who the fuck are you talking to

    LOL :D

  • ur life

  • lol! Yeah, who was that addressed to? It's gotten complicated. (:

  • yeah I just noticed that myself, but it was to your comment when u called us yanks, we are not all like that. we cant jugde people by and experience we've had with those type of people or whatever. everyone has the right to make their own choices, they dont do it because of who they are or the color of their skin.

  • true

  • Thanks, I agree. Yanks is like calling Oriental people Chinks. It's not right.

  • yup

  • hold the camera still

  • @000majorwinters000 calling someone an "oriental" is just as bad. The pc term is Asian.

  • lol - it's like an airshow crowd...

  • What the hell are they screaming for?

  • the crowds expression, priceless....."oooh..aahhh...wooo"

  • lmao

  • yep,it was the Airbus crash landing at KLAX and no one got killed.....

  • Ahhh... UM! WHATEVA

  • altho it was a caught abit crappy it was infact a great job those pilots did :]

  • oh yeah i think this is the Jet Blue crash. i live in l.a and i saw this crash because i was at the airport that day going to board British Airways fligh 456 to london. so THIS IS A VIDEO

  • totally....lame.

  • i dont get it no plane crashed

  • it was a crash landing

  • Please keep hating on America. It just shows your envy and it's really quite flattering.

  • hehehe

  • jesus you sadistic fucks! it's GOOD to cheer when people don't get cooked, which is an awfully good possibility when flights go wrong like this. if yOU were on that plane YOU would be whooping & cheering too. At least the "californians" aren't too jaded to care. happy peppy bunch! :)

  • nose geer collapse all the time, usually not ending up with any injuries or fire for that matter.

  • stupid

  • i reemember this day it was all over the news and live in l.a

  • GOSH!!! i love tacos lol XD

  • ...then go to taco bell

  • Psh, worst case scenario the front landing gear collapses and the plane starts on fire, the plane is evacuated and there are 3-5 injuries. Its not an emergency to me unless they use the slides, which they didnt, they used the stairs. BORING!

  • I've heard that Americans whoop and cheer like fucking morons EVERYTIME a plane lands and doesn't fucking blow up...understandable.

  • yes...such a rare occurance for us! VERY FUNNY! good one sir.

  • Californians are easily amused and distracted, and the plane had to be an Airbus. Both are inferior.

  • keep the camera still.

  • I remember watching this on the news . . anyone that knows anything about planes knew that was going to end up safe.

  • Hmm. I'm a private pilot so I know a little about planes. Try this scenario: Nose gear snaps as soon as the plane puts weight on the sideways nosewheel. Nosegear bounces off the fusilage and into one of the engine turbines - shattering turbine blades which fly off and penetrate a fuel cell. I give props to the pilot for a good job minimizing the stress on the nosegear.

  • wow, a happy ending crash video. thats pretty sweet.

  • Yaknow I think Bush planned the whole thing....hahaha

  • FUCKIN HATE PEOPLE LIKE U

  • WW11,classic!!lol

  • WW11, I'll be looking forward to that one! Looks like someone needs to go back to the (edited) history books! Still, decent landing all considered; good one to walk away from, could have been a lot worse. Commentator's an arsehole though.

  • All I will say (being from California) is that the pilot's forward landing gear was jammed 90 degree to the left. Also that it could have been far worst. Good pilots

  • Yeah they may have helped and they never stop going on about there beautiful flag -_-

  • retartds i heard the landing wheel cudnt go down. heard it on tv.

  • retarted people

  • That was a scream of anger due to lack of explosions.

  • You know, people amaze me. The only reason all those people were up there is because they were waiting for something horrific to happen. And they had to be them Californians.

  • why the hate? and if that were true why would they applaud when it was a safe landing?

  • This was not a crash. It was a very dangerous landing. Nothing major happened, and that's great.

  • i remember that
