Sublime music by a Sublime group! I think Debbie was underperforming because this was just before they became big time famous. Some critics said she was too over dancing in shows, This is why she seems more stationary on this performance. but this was too early in the group career. They thought wrong. She was the superstar! I can tell she was fighting to break out with the performance especially with the Parallel Lines songs like as is so obvious in this clip the upGIRLship is so obvious!
Great live band.The difference between modern bands and older bands like Blondie is the amount of gigs they played before they made it big.You had to pay your dues in shitty clubs and pubs with 4 people in the crowd and crap equipment.It improved your music skills immensely.Now kids play in their bedrooms and think they are king shit.They go on these crap ........ Idol shows and their lack of live band training is obvious for all to see.

She told them she always dressed herself and all the clothes she was ever photographed or video clipped in were from her own wardrobe and she has never been to a hair dresser EVER but cut and bleached it herself! They created a simply astonishing amount of top notch material for a band that only lasted 4 years. Who ever was their Manager should be liquidated!

They were too diverse in music genre, for them to ever be taken as SERIOUS Rock Artists and Heart of Glass, Denise and Island of lost souls were classic examples of why. Great comercial Pop tracks but not great for developing a Rock Bands credibility. Until i saw their other material on YT 6 months ago I had no idea what a truly GREAT ROCK BAND they really were. What a shame!
