  • @spencerhopkins91 hahhHHahaha

  • my kees loves water so much she used to jump in the toilet daily to get wet. we even gave her a very own tube for the pool to ride on and sleep. she loves every minute of the pool. first one in and never to get her out.

  • i hope they dont eat it thumbs up if u agree.

  • Cruel, but all Keeahounds don't like water, that's freezing cold water they ARe in amd it's cruel

  • haha, my keeshond hates water, the fur soaks it up and she sinks like a rock

  • BLOODY ASIANS AND THERE ANIMAL CRUELTY

  • really i grew up with a kees and he would jump into the pool after me. granted the whole pack loved swimming but he and my rot where the ones who umped in all the time from the side of the pool. and we never shaved him and we lived in texas. granted he a doggy door so he would jump into the pool and then go lay on the couch soaking met like a drowned rat lol

  • My name is Bobby the Dog USA. I like to be sheered like a sheep in the summer. Camping & hiking are my favorite activities & I can't do either of them if I have all my fur. Look at my videos. I'm fine. My fur always grows back. Dudes, I'm not a show dog, I'm just me, a cool guy who likes to hang out outside in the summer.

  • wtf happened to there FUR ?!

  • It's probably a good thing for a barge dog not to be fond of the water. A lab may get the idea to jump in at any time, possibly in a lock, which is quite dangerous.

  • Cute! I have two Keeshonden and both LOVE to swim. They jump into the lake I live on, swim around for a bit, and both can climb out of the lake using the ladder.

They also like to go for kayak rides.

This Kees looks shaved and even in a warm climate that's not a good idea.

  • Stupid people forcing the dog to swim when it's ovious that the poor animal just wants to get out of that damn pool.

  • I totally agree with your assessment LeatherBee.

I've been owned by three Keeshonden and none of them like the water either.

But the people tormenting these Kees appeared to be children. And most of them are not that smart with their pets. So what can we expect ...

  • my kees will lay in pools of water or only deep enough to cover her stomach. i've only seen her swim 2 or 3 times and she didn't seem to necessarily enjoy it very much.

  • i didnt think keeses liked the water

  • how cute

  • no, keeshonds look like that after they swim

  • Is that dog shaved?

  • the dog has been trimmed, possibly for a warmer climate.

  • trimming or shaving a keeshond does NOT protect them from the warmer climate... it is actuallly damaging. their undercoat holds in hair and allows circulation over their skin. cutting the undercoat makes them burn.

  • @sighedeffects I disagree, I kept a kees for more than a decade, in Puerto Rico, of all places. It was just standard procedure to trim her down to about a half-inch so she could spend the summer and the hurricane season cool (since it's hard to give AC or even a fan to a dog like that when you have no electricity). By the time fall here rolled around her fur had all grown out, it also avoided the shedding and hot spots behind air *not* being able to circulate on her skin.

  • I can swim, I just choose not to.

  • my keeshond wont swim
